Graham Cracker and Graham Flour Recipes and Cooking Tips

It seems that graham flour and those crackers are the real thing.
I like them and I also like corn flakes, oat meal, shredded wheat and whole wheat pancakes.
I think general foods went the wrong way just like old man walmarts kids.
Does that new Windows Activation update really 'phone home'?

Any time you get online you are inter-active on a telephone line. We can blur the lines now because some of those lines are Wi-Fi, cell phone signals, cable lines, telephone lines, fibre optic lines and satellite signals.
Phoning Home is just like it was done in ET.
Early Morning Being.
Earlier I thought of giving up my NARFE website because how could I do it with my head spinning. I got out of bed as the movie "Stage Door" was ending and the world was crying.
So I am up now wondering what to do about my back. I guess I will let things be and avoid the medicine that causes me problems.
I do love this life.

Every morning I go out and clean the windshield of mom's van (I clean all the windows) and normally there has been a heavy hard to clean frost on the windows but this morning at the moment there are just a few spots.
My teapot is getting ready to sing, time for a zinger and some honey. I use honey because my body just absorbs it where ever the honey is, my arm, my fingers, my lips, my mouth, my throat, my digestive track. I think honey may help me because it is ready to be absorbed. And that may help my body rest in the proper spaces.
Mind, body and soul.

Mom and I had an argument about the size of the government, mom said it should be smaller and I said we are the government, " She said I was ignorant and that ended the talk.
I remember the statement that the Republicans want to split the Democrats and Independents and they have with the Tea Party. That has also split the Republicans. The only people in agreement are the banks (hold the money), the Lobbyists and Political Action Committees.
I did see where the stimulus money put 1,000 jobs back into Western Kentucky those projects have been on hold since 2001, it was held up by Bush Administration.. They were the 1,000 lock and dams jobs in our area that been on hold (the money was going to Iraq war).

A Personal Computer

My brother Ron bought a motorcycle so that he can see the planet and be around folks that he loves. Travel here travel there. I push a keyboard (what folks call a laptop), my brother Gil works in a beautiful environment of earth. David has built his family a home and Diane kept us all together.
Sandy lives in both country and city. She has traveled and seen the wonders of North America, we are still talking about devises that we use to communicate with each other.
The most amazing thing that has happened is the typewriter that is hand held ((texting), were still working out the kinks on that one and the short hand used) . We can talk on the devise as well as texted.
We have chat on FaceBook which some folks use but I am still learning to spell (I am a day to day learner that forgets what he spelled three days ago) so I do not chat. Chat is for the quick correct spellers and thinkers (mom and daughter come to mind there.)
I am thinking as to what started it all, the stick in the earth, the cave painting, the radio and radar, TV and the wheel.
This mind of ours has moved rather well.
Someone invented the Interactive TV with a keyboard but we are still in our shorts and pajamas and having a time adjusting to that. It is here and folks have asked us to talk via the laptop but like I said I am just out of bed with my shorts and scruffy beard (a sight to see at midnight) god almighty the calendar flipped to another day.
Our young walk the street and traveling with cell phones to their ears. Waving hands and gestures and talking to inanimate objects ("Oh excuse me, I thought you were talking to me?").
Were there or as the little girl says, "There here!"
I kinda like this world, It is kinda poverty and space patrol with a world that if flipping paper into a fan and calling it money kinda a place. I can print money on my laptop and computer but I don't because the law says not to. We are an advanced world with GPS that can just about park our cars, "OOPS the throttle is stuck!" Well almost.
We are moving fast but I say a prayer as I type with this mind of Bliss and Euphoria.
I kind a see like the Hippies of Yore in real color and god almighty that is fare out mentality reality.
Bless you
Wow! I am just up and Ferguson tapped/patted the camera wishing us well.
Stimulus, Obama budget support job-laden projects
There are at least 700 jobs in Western Kentucky to add to the jobs already paid for and completed by the stimulus money.

A New Standard in Congress

They did that with the Stimulus money and they may continue as more Stimulus money hits streets again.

It is 27 degrees outside today and nice. I talked by email to our friend Pam and she is snowed-in (From Pam:We got a huge new blizzard today. Measured 21" in deepest part - 14" under trees. The snow from the last blizzard never melted.). She lives in Thoreau New Mexico very close to the Continental Divide. She said she spent some time getting to her car so she could start it but her battery was dead. I mentioned it because she got a sore back getting to her car.
We have daylight and we have snow on the ground, less than an inch, but that was a surprise.

Urea
"India has been providing farmers with heavily subsidized fertilizer for more than three decades. The overuse of one type—urea—is so degrading the soil that yields on some crops are falling and import levels are rising. So are food prices, which jumped 19% last year. The country now produces less rice per hectare than its far poorer neighbors"
Operate In a Humane Way

I feel good with a comfortable ache in my back, just a mopping floor ache.
Walmart is giving mom their confusing schedule shtik and mom will have nothing to do with their nonsense. Mom needs her body to heal and it does take some time. Mom did get run over ( I think blindsided is the proper term) by a young man who had no business running in a department store. One of the managers told us that it would never of happened if he was working that day. I'm sure running in the isles is not condoned in a store as well managed as Walmart. I also know they read these posts because it helps a big operation as theirs operate in a humane way.
I still shop at Walmart because it helps the poor countries of the world.

5.7-million mile journey
It is 48 degrees outside this very early morning and it is dark out and Endeavour the Space Shuttle has just landed at Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
That is a lot of miles.
I watched a movie called Star Trek where a vehicle traveled billions of miles in space. Will that be the norm in our future or will our prays call for the end of days and watch this earth implode and the religions of the world bow in phrase as we blow up the planet as prophesied.

I went back to bed and just got up.
Our skies are over cast. I read a post as to how boring these blogs are to read. But that is not the point of the blog the point is the reference in time that it provides. I remember the only reference in time were books and reference books.
***
How many of us have a blog of history created by our parents? My niece says her blog is grandma's bedroom door where she posts photos and notes.
Some of us have journals put away for posterity. I only use the paper journal when the power is out. It is true that these paper and electric journals are not written in stone. Stone is the only thing that lasts.

"The Party of Obstruction"
***
The Kentucky Basketball team play hardball and they also try to be diplomatic but the Republicans Senators play Political Hardball and hold their stance thinking that the Tea Party will vote for them in the next election. The Tea Party Motto is, "Throw the Bums Out!" and that means any one that does not cooperate with the majority of people in Kentucky.
***
The Supreme Court said that Corperation can put their money into any part of our Government and that includes the Supreme Court and the Justice System, The Presidency and our Congress.
Do we as the public have a chance? If you see their ad on TV they are paid for by Cooperate America in our next election.
Space Shuttle Endeavour

It is 40 degrees and partly cloudy out, our ground is wet as it thawed and water will now drain to the Ohio River.
I watched Kentucky play Vanderbilt and just win. Teams really play their best ball when they play Kentucky. Egos are at their highest and talent is put to the test as well as the natural ability of the players. It is difficult for a human being to preform like a skilled basketball player consistently. They learn as they go and perhaps as they age their skills will help their families.

Today's News, "Just Say No!"

Nancy Reagan said that for everything that is not good for you and apparently, "Black is not beautiful."
That pretty well sums up congress. It is no wonder that whatever Democrats want Republicans say no.
That is why moderate Democrats and moderate Republicans are becoming Independents. The revolution is at hand.

In Marion Kentucky
We had an ice storm last February that cut the power to the radio station. It was very difficult to communicate to the community. Local city and county services had their private signals sent to our local authorities and city services. The public was left out in the cold. There was no way that our radio station send out a signal without a heavy duty generator.
I informed our local officials of the need last year and to this day they have not provided a heavy duty generator capable do a job at the radio station.
Good News
I heard on the news from the local neurosurgeon in Paducah that back aches in folks like me can be relieved by reducing your weight. The chance of success is almost 80%. So I need to lose at least 50lbs in the next two years. That is a no brain er.
I awoke last night in the middle of a dream. Mom left the TV on and I was being chased by a bear until I awoke and then as I sat by the bedside with my eyes closed and I saw a mite crab across my eye. He was swimming crablike in the fluids. I jump and looked at mom's wall hoping to see a spider crawling on the wall no such luck.
We both went back to bed and I just got up a few minutes ago.
The trash truck is making his rounds and it is still dark as the furnace flames up and now the blower kicks in.

Well at least most of the dishes, mopping and my laundry is done. At least this old man can do that.
Well at least I do like my sandals and beads I created above. Those are mine.
America is in need of a pep talk from its president

I think that if Senator Bayh in Indiana came back as an Independent he would win by the majority of both parties.
Both parties need to be scraped in congress.
I think that is the plan so that moderates in both parties changed to Independents.
Republicans and Democrats can vote for Independents.
I think that is what the Tea Party's are about.
I think the moderate Republican and Democratic Congressmen should break from ranks.
It’s Easy Being Green: The Top Five Cities for Green Jobs
It is about 20 degrees outside this morning.
I make a smoothie with milk and orange juice but in the last four days I have added honey to the mix to aid my digestive system and everything that the honey touches.
I tried a few years back when I had money to spend, a way that I could sell solar energy back into the grid in Kentucky. What I found was nothing. It seemed at the time that all of the state legislators (wanted our power companies) wanted us to use coal for all our needs. So there was no way they were going to buy solar energy. They have changed but now my salary has been cut in half and I replaced my roof so nothing new is going to happen up there.

Kentucky won their basketball game. They are talented and strong but Coach Cal was beside himself. Then again most of the players he plays are freshmen in college.

I did some work on a online card for the drug coalition yesterday and I should have it ready in a couple of days. I did post The Active and Retired Federal (Kentucky Federations) Employees Newsletter on line. They did a really good job and mom approved it when I asked her to look it over. It was created by the Federation, I am not sure of the author.
Mom works today and Kentucky plays basketball tonight.
I posted one of my harsher statements on, "Poets Against the War" it was called, "Empty and Void" and it is really harsh. I have posted other stuff there but none was as harsh as this.

Hypocrisy Alert: 71 House Republicans Take Credit for the Economic Bills They Opposed
It's bad enough House Republicans want to go back to the Bush Administration policies responsible for the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, but they’ve also tried to get away with taking credit for the economic benefits in their districts they tried to prevent. House Republicans need to immediately let their constituents know the truth – will they come out in favor of canceling funding in their congressional districts from President Obama’s economic recovery policies or will they continue taking credit for jobs and local projects they fought against?
Welcome to the Hypocrisy Hall of Fame!
I think there is a video with a lot of Congressmen passing out Stimulus money they voted against.

Senate Republicans: Filibuster Everything to Win in November?

Washington - Senate Republicans are using the filibuster to limit and often derail Democrats' initiatives, paralyzing the Senate and making it nearly impossible to accomplish even the most routine matters.
The filibuster strategy "makes the Senate dysfunctional," said Mark Strand, the president of the Congressional Institute, a nonpartisan research group. That, in turn, blocks the Obama administration's agenda, but it also sours public opinion on Washington, with polls showing clear public disdain for Congress in particular. Republicans think voters will reward them for that in November. »

New tools control texting while driving
There's no law in Kentucky yet, but legislation is now being considered in both the House and Senate.

This morning I am chipper and very happy and in love. You know it is almost Valentines Day and those lovers are in full bloom. We did see, "Sleepless in Seattle" the other day and a flood of understanding came over me as in ,"I know what love is and I am there forever kinda feeling."
Love is grand and so are those little pink hearts we hand out at school.
So what is this business of sleeping 20 hours in a snug warm ice cave about? I think it is a clue about the hereafter for Tomas. Wow what a revelation close to god and man at the same time. I like the idea of pushing up daisies that kinda makes life really nice. But I am grand today and fit as a fiddle and ready to absorb the sunshine for 50 more years.
Time to do some dishes.
Indiana Snow Days - Kentucky Snow Days.

In Kentucky we have winding roads that move around steep hills out in the country and those roads are sometimes in the wooded areas that do not see sunshine on winter days. Across the Ohio River 60 miles north a glacier came down into Illinois and Indiana and leveled the land flat.
School buses do not roll off ice covered roads on flat ground. We in Kentucky have snow days to keep the school buses off those roads that are dangerous with ice on them. Sometimes mom and pop can get their 4 wheeler out of those areas and bring the children to town where the roads are sometimes flat.

Killing the Child.

When I was a child living in Pasadena California I could not ride in anything that gave off fumes without spinning and dumping the content of my stomach. That was my normal - Wow! I thought I was different and sick when it was society that was harming this child. Has China learned my lesson or is is that they really do not care - just as in the minds of mothers that strap bombs to children for a fee and good passage to the hereafter.

China’s Labor Edge Overpowers Obama’s ‘Green’ Jobs Initiatives
What do you think? Is our supplement money there to help China or is this helping us?
It would take a group of buyers to stop them from doing this and that is not going to happen.
Our planet is based on economics and China's Slave Labor ChildWorks does work.
Recently, a study by the International Journal of Biological Sciences revealed that Monsanto's Mon 863, Mon 810, and Roundup herbicide-absorbing NK 603 in corn caused kidney and liver damage in laboratory rats. Scientists also discovered damage to the heart, spleen, adrenal glands and even the blood of rats that consumed the mutant corn. A "state of hepatorenal toxicity" the study concluded.
This hasn't slowed down Monsanto's profit machine. In 2008, Monsanto cleared over $2 billion in net profits on $11 billion in revenues. And its 2009 is looking equally as excellent.
Author and food safety advocate Robyn O'Brien told me, "Monsanto is expecting gross margins in Q2 2010 of 62%, its corn and soy price mix to be up 8-10% and its glyphosate revenue to expand to an estimated $1 billion in gross profit by 2012, enabling Monsanto to further drive R&D into seeds and to price those seeds at a premium – further driving price increases on the farm and in the grocery stores.""Friday, February 5, 2010
Gray skies and peaceful in Western Kentucky.
In most every state in the Union it is peaceful the only bad news we hear is on the news as most of the Union is peaceful.
We have laws that most folks follow plus there is a common sense that man should live in peace. It is not difficult to follow.
What is the purpose of disruptive behavior?

My dad was a hard worker but his flaw was women. He was good looking enough to just wink and POOF!! They were putty in his hands.
He never got over not having a wife and a girl friend and I mentally I never forgave him for that.
All human beings on the planet have a place to be, to be seen, to be adored, to be part of society. How do I place my being into this mixed up place of thought, I love them all. My dad kept his romances as quiet as he could I have placed mine in the open. What could I do? I am as puzzled as the world around me.
Human beings are selling space where space is only a name ( a balloon full of dreams). Buying stock in homes that are far fetched and belonging to a place in a distant bank that holds an empty account numbers.
My home is here and our account has traveled to three banks. Who am I paying and for what.
My dad and grandfather worked as hard as these pictures. My grandfather was as good as this garden at the Huntington Library and my father was as good as the work done in the yard above when he placed the sod from his own stock of grass shoots. The ground was leveled by the family with a level and sod was put in place. This yard was created from his idea of what should be there and then done. I can assume that hard work was part of the Diaz Family.
Child Labor on our Planet Earth
In my thinking I would prefer the child staying home and being schooled before going out to work. That has always been the norm for me and everyone around me.
My step mother Margie thought that work at home was good discipline and she made sure we studied, practiced our music and cleaned our home. Pryor to that I did what I pleased at my grandmothers.
My dad was somewhere in the middle as you can see in his gardens. All the work was done by him with help from the children.

A Basket Factory: 1908

October 1908. Evansville, Indiana. "Boy making melon baskets. A Basket Factory." Photograph by Lewis Wickes Hine.
Child labor lawsI am constantly looking for a rush of words that will bring my emotions to a heightened state of euphoria.
So I read a book, go out and view the early morning, scan the Internet.
I am chasing a dream.
I am constantly finding that peace, that state of being, that euphoria.
Every morning I awake, every morning I search.
Sometimes there is a moment where I just see like a child lost in a dream,
Tomas did you hear me?
The teacher comes by and says,
Tomas did you hear the question?
Someone please tap my shoulder.
Awaken me from this moment of peace.
Nothing would be done if we all found that moment of peace.
No wars could be fought if we all found that moment of peace.
Some of us can carry that moment throughout the day.
An aura of bliss carried on our shoulders like a comforting knapsack.
We can dig the weeds, assemble the work, draw the painting, and write the word.
All we need is the awakening moment, the reminder, the warm chill that emanates deep in our being to come forward like the blood that flows to our brain.
We are constantly showing others our moment hoping that they will see it.
Share it be part of it.
It is a good vibration; a warm movement of blood; a good state of mind; it is peace.

We fight and sometimes lose. This morning it was my common sense or is it my usual sense.
Today I dipped below the light and saw a vague image of not wanting life. I did not step in that direction I was just moved there by time. I did make a decision or more a will to be but that was sluggish and covered with bilge water.
A gentle sleep awoke the man inside. Today is still murky so I listed its presence here and that has helped the most.
Our Portal Today
Our portal today is our Internet and Televisions.
God ! What a morning.
What a strange night the cats wanted out and walked on my face as I slept.
I read of a cat that laid with those close to dying - what a morning.
It must be some drug.
I went through this before but not so intense and the doctor said that the fluid in my ears had thickened and caused me to be dizzy. I think I know the source but I will not say what it is because to the trained eye there is no proof only something used to cleanse my hair and it gets into my ears.
0915
I took a nap and I feel better. God, What a Morning.
Now I have some kind of normal sense, everything makes sense now.
Am I looking forward to that kind of life? I surely hope not.
I think it is time for some coffee.
