The Republican Party of NO

Happy Birthday Gladys
Well I have the winter cover on the pool. I still have to hang sandbags (plastic grocery sacks) along the outside grommets to hold it down from winter winds. I use wire cable and a rope to hold it in place plus the sandbags. If the cover falls into the pool it is almost impossible to remove in the winter months. I find that an old porous cover is much better than a new cover. Rain and snow melt and fall though the cover and drain out of the pool. I just need to keep mice from finding a home in my drain pipes and fittings. I also need to remove leaves that fall on the cover. I do that with a garden hose or my power washer. The photo at left just shows the sandbags I placed yesterday, the rest of the pool has just a few sandbags. I will finish up the sandbags today and place my wire cable on today or tomorrow. I still have to drain the pool down 18 " and then drain the water from all the fittings. I will do that once the cover is secure. In the picture the cover is not secure.

From Dvorak

The Left Right Paradigm is Over: Its You vs. Corporations

About Work

When did I decide to work?
It was somewhere between New York and Chicago. It may have been in Pennsylvania when the farmer asked me to be a bodyguard, all I had to do was clean up and stand around in front of someone. Or in Detroit when the three young black hoods/brothers picked me up and started flashing their knives and stuff, I said "Far out and Peace brother, we are family". They said, "Man you're O.K." and drove me back three miles to where they picked me up. They said "Keep the Faith, keep up the good work". What they were up to I did not know? I saw them as human beings, that was how I treated everyone.
I caught another ride to Chicago. In downtown Chicago, I headed for the bus depot, bus depots have maps. And a map was what I needed. At the bus depot I found the map on the wall. I took out the letter from Kathy. In the corner of the letter was an address for Laurel. I read the map, found the street address and started walking. While walking I found a place where they print the Bibles that are in hotels everywhere. If you look you see. I found Laurel's address and rang the doorbell. I was buzzed up. I greeted everyone. It was the weekend, we had time to do fun things and feast, I learned that Laurel was a dancer. I learned that she had worked at CBS in New York. I learned that she was now working for a PR firm. I learned that Laurel was extremely intense and tense. I learned that she was the type of person that would not back away from a fight. She would fight man or women and kick their ass. We were completely opposite. I was laid back, a go with the flow type guy. Ambo and I saw that the city was going to kill her. The muscles in her shoulders were like steel, tense. She loved us because we were relaxed and pleasant. I never knew the relationship between Ambo and Laurel. I knew they were friends.

Here is a story about working on this planet.

I was in my mind heading in the direction of going back to work. I knew that I could live in peace and still work. I knew that we were a civilization of men. I could live in peace and work. I did not have to work, I found it convenient to have some way to barter. Everyone was surprised when I said I was going back to work. Mentally I was not going to take any more abuse from the law in California. I could do my thing on my own. After Kathy and Ambo left, Laurel said I could not find work dressed like that. She took charged, organize things is what Laurel does know what to do. She trashed everything that I had. I kept the belt from Sylvia, I laid a little oil on it. Laurel put a bowl over my head and did a little trimming. Monday morning I went out to find work. I soon learned that if you have not worked in over a year people are a little puzzled? They want questions answered. I gave them answers, they smiled and wished me luck. I soon found that if I went over to ManPower that they had jobs that no one wanted, with one exception, Tomas. Tomas wanted to work.
Spiritually, working was where it was at. There is no explanation for this, it is just being with God or I am a being just with God. The jobs I did were not pleasant and they lasted only six or seven hours. These jobs were to help people get caught up. They were menial, hard and filthy. I finally landed a job that I got to keep. I did the job so well that my department manager brought people over to see how efficiently I was doing the job. I created quite a stir with my desire to do the job right at a minimum wage. They could not believe that I could make a shit job into a work of art. I was taking up space and time, I was being. My head was in it's proper place. I had been taught well at Tolstoy and Morningstar.

More on Work
I remember Kyle asking me if I wanted to go to a Buddhist monastery somewhere near Carmel in California....

"Carrying water and chopping wood are the activities of the Buddha,"
and
"The everyday mind is Buddha,"

From the Washington Post

Here is a story that only tells only part of the story. It does not mention all the hard working government employees that lift and tug on hard jobs in extreme weather. It mentions a salary of $155,500 as base for a government employee. I retired in 2001 (36 years with the Federal Government) earning just 1/5 of that salary.
So if you are a T Party member remember me and do not place government jobs on your chopping block.

Monsanto

"Monsanto has filed patents that cover the feeding of animals soybeans, which have been genetically modified by the company to contain stearidonic acid (SDA), a plant-derived omega-3 fatty acid."

I spent the day yesterday getting the pool ready for winter. I cleaned the pool and applied the proper treatment to the water, I then removed the solar cover from the pool. It is a heavy cover and it took some effort. After I removed the cover and put it away I removed a brace I had put up to hold the cover while we swam. As I finished the day I started getting my winter cover ready for this late morning when I will put it on. The day was exhausting and I felt tired by it's end.
I am up now ready for a cup of tea.

The Tyranny of the Timepiece

Senate Rules Obstruct Voting to a Degree that Wounds Our Government

Stop teaching to please the budget, the state, the government and the test.

I heard a lady say this morning that the problems with the school system was the interference of local, state and federal bureaucracy . Teachers need to be free to teach as they please and get paid for it. Tenor is only a protection to keep teachers in place it is not a problem.
Stop teaching to please the budget, the state, the government and the test.

Does the country want to go back to a NO response Republican Party?

Katrina pretty well tells us what happens when you put your best friend in charge of FEMA.
The oil well explosion out in the gulf pretty well tells you what happens when you gut The U.S. Department of the Interior and put oil well executives in charge there.
Look what is happening when food production went out of United States control and our local The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) were gutted of personal (wanting a smaller government footprint.
Dr. Rand Paul who is running for US Senate in Kentucky wants to eliminate or water down penalties given to people who break the law (street walking, robbing banks, committing larceny, selling illegal drugs, disturbing the peace and maybe even drunk driving). People want to be in control of our government. We saw what happens when you give big business power. They want more.
Is voting for the T party a step forward or a step back. Barack Obama was a step forward. Do we want our government to be just like Mitch McConnell, "The Good Man of Kentucky" who just says NO to anyone that thinks government and YES to big business outside the United States.
I am just waiting for the tea water to boil. It clear and cool outside and we are getting closer to our first frost of the year. I brought the plants in that do not do well after a frost or freeze. I set up a place in the garage for my Aloe plants that I did not give away.
The temperature is somewhere around 43-44 degrees outside and a comfortable 72 inside.

Old Kuttawa, Kentucky

We have cool weather here in Western Kentucky the leaves are still green but there is a hint of the colors to come.
I grew up in California and there was not much of a change when the seasons changed. Here we have picture postcard fall views this time of year as in this photo of our fishing hole just south of us in Ol Kuttawa. Motherkitty took the photo from where we fish from.
Old Kuttawa is behind the trees to the left and right.
Old Kuttawa has a history as one of the towns flooded by the TVA back in the 1950's. All that we see is the edge of town that was on high ground all the rest is underwater. The town was moved to what is now called Kuttawa about a mile away on high ground.
See Land Between the Lakes. The two lakes are Barkley Lake (Cumberland River) and Kentucky Lake (Tennessee River).
There have been some stories that I am aware of that were tried and failed because of the previous owners of the Land Between the Lakes. The first was that Spiro Agnew wanted to commercialize the land between the lakes and that was closed either by popular complaints or the law. The second was that the Federal Government was going to bring wolves back into the land between the lakes but the area farmers said they would be shot as soon as they were turned loose off their government trucks. So that was stopped cold. The third is someone in the Bush Administration wanted to commercialize the land between the lakes and those old property owners said if your going to do that then give us back our land and so that was stopped also.

Sunday, September 26, 2010

Today is Sunday, is this just another day in my life, in the life of the planet. Have we or do we know the the birthday of of the planet or was the planets birth evolving from an explosion of a sun or other planet. When or where do we mark our calendar because we have evolved enough to go backward in time. I know that that something phenomenal happened and it was very painful for the matter that had feeling ( if that was possible then, I am open to speculation).
Anyway today does seem to be starting out as another perfect day on the planet.
What ?
You see on the news that some being is misbehaving? Is it a volcano, a earthquake or is some human being squabbling over some land mass. Well, whatever?
Besides that the planet seems to be in perfect shape with beautiful morning views. Did you ever see a buck (deer) standing on a high point looking out majestically. Does he have any incite as to what he is or where he is or why he is as he looks at the kingdom of god before him.
Yes today is a nice day and I do say good morning to the planet and it's inhabitants.

The American Medicine Chest Challenge - November 13th

Providing a Service

When I was in my twenties I used to get my shirts cleaned and pressed as the Dry Cleaners. The Dry Cleaner provided a service. Today our local government in town hires a contractor to pick up our trash they provide a service to the community and they bill me. Sometimes I go to McDonald's and get a Coffee Mocha which I like, McDonald's provides a service. It requires too much effort on my part to create a Coffee Mocha.
Are you getting the point?
All around us human beings are providing a service. It really does not matter what the service is we pay by work, barter, tax or cash out of our pockets. Sometimes these services are almost invisible or taken for granted as in the vaults at the bank to protect our assets or the wide super highways we travel on.
Our great society is constantly moving, working, generating and painting.
Someone or our government is providing a service and we are paying for that service.

The man above and to our left decided that we were paying too much for the services provided and decided to give us our money back and we were tickled to death that we were finally going to get money back because we have been paying for the services for years and it was about time we got our money back.
There is one problem with that, we were emptying the vaults that were paying for the services. The banks decided to move the money into hiding and write each one of us a check (don't forget that the vaults are empty). Well after 6 years of empty promises we exploded.
Do we now understand why we want to tax the rich as they were 10 years ago. I think we should all be taxed but most of us are unemployed. The unemployed do not pay taxes. The only human beings that have any money are the employed and the rich.
***
How many of us are wealthy enough to hire someone to create an ad on TV?
I know that the unemployed are not the ones creating the ads. The folks that are paying for the ads are the ones that need to be taxed or as I say pay for the service provided.

Positive Stimulus from our Government

By Fareed Zakaria
September 19, 2010
Newsweek

"We will never know what would have happened if Lehman had not failed. But we can be fairly sure that without its collapse, it would have been impossible to shock the political system into action. In the month after the fall, the U.S. government made a series of massive moves to restore stability to the financial system. And it’s clear that those actions saved the American—and thus the global—economy from total collapse."

Nothing but sunny skies for the next week here in Western Kentucky. Highs in the low 90's starting the week and then tampering off into the 80's for the end of the week. Lows maybe in the 50's overnight for the week.
I feel good even though I pulled some of the carpet off the floor in the computer room but I have to scrape the old foam layer off the particle board base flooring and that is the hardest part so far.

I am ready for a cup of tea but I do not hear the steam kettle yet , maybe a cup of orange juice to clear my voice.

9/19/2010 Sunday ..... I think our weather forecast was wrong. This morning as I went out a few minutes ago the skies were clear and blue to the east. Directly overhead and to the west was a sky filled with heavy clouds and darkness.

We have more clear skies this morning. I feel good this morning as I normally do. I am floating in the clouds of dreams like Alfred E Neuman.

I have just had a cup of red tea with honey and cream as my replacement for coffee. Coffee stimulates me fine but has done a number on my stomach and has caused some problems. The red tea is very strong like coffee if steeped 10 minutes and has no side effects that I am worried about at this point in time ( 9/17/2010 0832).
I love the long days where time is a moment to moment existence. I get to savor each breath and the wonderful view that complements that time.

Thursday, September 16, 2010

It rained last night and that is good. The rain is going to leave the area and the skies will clear. Last night we met with Sandy, Jimmy, Ron and their friend as they were coming back from a trip to Memphis and stopped for the night here in Marion. They are on their way back to Eastern Kentucky as we speak. It was nice seeing them, I had not seen my brother Ron since his tour of duty at Fort Campbell back in the late sixties. They had drove their car on this trip.

Remarkable Human Being

Television is like a huge cartoon network. It is where your senses are bombarded with color and sound.
I remember back in 1950 at night on a TV set there would be test pattern usually in the shape of a full screen logo. It was used by TV repairmen to adjust horizontal settings, vertical settings, contrast, brightness and color on the tube.
What do these people want to tell you and where are they leading you.
I remember during the ice storm that there was no electricity and any thought from this brain would have to be penciled into a notebook.
It is early Sunday morning and my life has been very physical until these last few years. I remember moving rock as in a chain gang. The work makes my muscles sore.
Hard work drives out the time to ponder and to muse.
I learned that work is part of life and part of the ability to survive. Being paid to work is a bonus. Work has nothing to do with society; it is strictly a personal thing.
I grew up thinking that a human being had to work a nine to five job and that if you did not work for society you were a slacker. That thought is pushed into the minds of human beings in our society and creates a false sense of moral values of doers and slackers.
The world has learned to abuse the ability of work by creating slaves to do their work; causing me to think that work is part of the evil when in realty it is the man that controls the slave that is evil; not the work.
Where ever you find a group of men working as slaves you always see a few men that are content with their lives and you wonder why. I know why now.
Yes we must free man from slavery; not free man from work; pounding rock is not evil.
We should also free man from the propaganda implanted in the brain about work.

Today I am reminded of the complex beings that we are. We use our bodies to handle intense physical manipulations.
Our bodies handle dexterity with grace. The younger and stronger child with will and determination can climb a sheer wall.

In my life I have had a yearning to work very well and it showed.
I was not into vanity or dressing to fit in.
I was into work, what the body does to fulfill human desire, to achieve the light in the blue sky.
At that time I had no clue of any talents in my possession, other than a good work habit.
How could I know how to climb a creative ladder?
I thought what I created was meager, as I do now.
The difference is that I want the world to know that I exist.
The ego has stepped to the forefront.
The dazzling red cape is teasing the bull.
I am getting older and I want all the world to see the day.

What happens when you suppress the ability to work or you by physical inability stop working?
That energy has to go somewhere.
Now that I am old I do not have the physical ability to work. I cannot just watch TV or those patterns of color, my body has to move that energy from the body to the world with out abusing tired and old muscle. I can stretch and twist but at my age (worn out body) I either have to die or do something.

Remarkable Human Beings

It is nice to compliment the planet for it's remarkable human being population. Somehow we have overwhelmed the planet with our numbers and also keeping all other species at bay or out of sight.
We still do have some wild human beings that swing axes or repeating firearms for pleasure or tote religious text as propaganda or pay for power but for the most part we are quite remarkable.
I have a whole sack of friends and relatives that are quite remarkable but I will not disarm you with compliments by name. Just be it said that if I know you, you are quite remarkable and talented.
We have managed to secure a portion of the planet with law and dignity.
At the moment we are split by propaganda but once we see though it we see the decency of law and good behavior we vote for that.
It is a nice day here in Western Kentucky. It is peaceful and colorful.
The hummingbirds have finished their frenzy and have gone south. We still have some feeding at the feeders but I would consider them a normal or local amount of birds.
They gassed up for their trip and gone. Those staying may live and feed here all year.
Ice-D is laying at my side sound asleep. When i get up for my coffee he may get upset. I will set him on the rocker.

Mom was home today and cleaned the clutter from around her computer. Tomorrow I start to move everything out of the computer room. The computer goes on a card table.

What are we supposed to think?

"Mr. Gingrich, who is mulling a bid for the Republican presidential nomination in 2012, made the comments to National Review Online. He was quoted by the conservative Web site as saying: “What if [Obama] is so outside our comprehension, that only if you understand Kenyan, anticolonial behavior, can you begin to piece together [his actions]? That is the most accurate, predictive model for his behavior.” "

Aloe Plants

Today I separate my Aloe plants. The mother plant has given off shoot and today I place them into their own pots. Then I will put them into the garage for the winter. Next Spring I will trade them for 8 inch pots to plant next years off mother plant shoots.
Today it is clear, clean and crisp. Very colorful as the gray overcast has left the area. It almost seems spring like but I know from history and the calendar that cold weather is approaching our time frame.
After I finish with the Aloe plants then it is time to put the papers away that are near moms computer. I will mark trash bags with caution signs as to not dispose of these documents. Then I will dismantle the computer and computer table and then remove the old carpet in that room.

The aloe plants are resting now that they have been replanted. Let me check and see if we have any frost warnings. Nothing even close to a frost in this area for the next week. Average low in the 60's every night.

Stations of the Cross

Today I will rest and maybe say a prayer. Maybe I will call my mother. Maybe it is just a nice thought.
Last year I stopped by my dad's grave and just glanced at the stone and a young woman came by and brushed the new cut grass clippings away and took pride in the job she was doing for those laid to rest where she worked.
Did someone, hopefully my grandfather cleaned up the mess and say a prayer where my mother rests. He had a Catholic Rosary and I am sure he stopped by from time to time and planted a flower or trimmed a limb in remembrance.
Sometimes you have to write your own history because the truth will not come to the forefront. I wrote a few years back that from the view of a satellite we see the planet earth and on that planet is my mother. So my prayer is to embrace the planet and call her heaven and not hurt her (the planet or my mother).
As a child there was a lot of suffering, it was in my nature to suffer as I learned of all the wrongs of the planet. The Holy Roman Church enforced that belief and I did suffer as Christ did. I had to give up that idea or die on my own cross. I chose to live and embrace the good and the flower/children that grow with each day of my life.
So there are no wars in my life because that is my choice. There is law in history as well as a lesson.

Rush Limbaugh and Koran-Burning Preacher Were High School Classmates

I am still cleaning up the boxes in our son's room. When the cupboard was emptied things went everywhere in haste to get the dresser on Long Haired Daddy's truck plus our (Mom and I) over accumulation of stuffed boxes are just now getting sorted (this morning).
Since we are nggetting close to the removal of our carpet in that room our computer (mom's monster) is going to go on a table because the way I see it I have to dismantle the computer desk to lay any flooring.

Remembering September 11, 2001

September 11, 2001
Delicate Being

We are so vulnerable. Our hearts are very strong.
But when it comes to violence our body cannot protect itself without help.
I was told that a plane had hit one of the World Trade Center Buildings in New York.
I walked over and looked at the TV, as I watched the fire and
smoke in one building, another plane flew right into the other building.
I knew then that something was not right.
I knew that something evil was taking place right before my eyes.
I realized that human bodies were being consumed by fire and wreckage.
The intense heat was vaporizing human lives in those buildings.
I knew that the smoke was going to smother the lives of human beings trapped in the upper stories of these two buildings.
As I watched in amazement white/gray smoke fell slowly to the ground.
I thought to myself, " The other building is disappearing and falling to the ground."
The concrete from the building was falling on human beings and disintegrating them right before my eyes.
This catastrophe was pulverizing human life.
More that two thousand human lives were being blown to bits by the heavy weight and pressure of the falling building.
The vaporized bits of concrete and human beings formed a cloud that billowed over the earth.
This dust of human form and concrete settled on the earth.
Only pieces of life were blown away to fall to the ground and settle into their own dust.
I watched again as the second building fell in the same manner with the same results.
It is difficult to understand why another human being would take pride in seeing this happen.
It is difficult to understand why any one would think that this was good and that god would approve of this violence.
The dust of these human beings will settle over the earth.
The dust that is choking me was once alive, a life with a family.
***
Where is the value in the lighthearted flower?
Could I paint a wonderful picture of a mare standing with her foal behind a black fence swishing
her tail in the colors of the fall foliage?
Would there be any harm in painting a picture like that.
Could I write a poem about dreams in an obscure language making it flow with delight?
Would there be any harm in that?
I have wonderful choices. So why can't the world have those choices?
Where did the world depart in the wonderful dreams of youth?
Are we going to stand up and say what is on our minds?
I think the world knows that we are divided and together as one.
We will all behave differently.
We will condemn violence but we will try to stop a recurring ball from bouncing out of control.
Will our words make sense? Nope!
Our emotions will tell the story.
***
In the minds of the young, terrorism has sealed it's own coffin.
The world now knows that death of two thousand people will not solve any of their problems.
Like an old factory, the framework of their minds will have to be retooled.
They'll have to update their thoughts and realize that violence does not solve anything.
They are condemned in the minds of the world.
The prison is in their minds; the falling building will fall repeatedly in their dreams.
The screams of the children of god will slide down their walls.

When you are young sneakers and sandals are the best choice of footwear. Somewhere in the fashion statement of 1960 Florsheim shoes were my favorite and when I went to work at the Dam 50 Red Wing Steel Toed Boots were my choice. And now that I am retired I wear black sneakers on all occasions and my Nike Sandals (with the rivets I put in them) are my favorites. I do wear my Red Wings when I do yard work but that is about it for foot wear.
It is 62 outside this morning and do we have rain out side, let me look? Yes we do have rain in Marion this morning.
I went to my yearly eye checkup and my eyes are fine. I discussed the fact that my eyes stick shut when I sleep and we came up to the conclusion that it is cat dander as the main factor. There may be other factors but cat dander is the main source of my problem as well as Motherkitty's.
While in Paducah I bought a new aquarium light as ours was worn out. While there in Paducah Motherkitty asked me if I would like a new pair of sneakers and I said I will wait until I have the money and she said she had saved some money for this moment so she bought me a new pair of sneakers as I had worn a hole in my old sneakers.
Motherkitty called me to the slider and said that Mr. Skunky was out there eating scraps of food and she wanted to put some cat chow out there and I said no and no he does not stink up the home that feeds him.
The Humming birds finished two bottles of nectar while we we gone yesterday. I will put two new bottles out this morning before sunrise.

I was thinking about the aches and pains of age and how they compliment the day because they do bring reminders of past memory to the fore front. I know I am not supposed to lift but I lift anyway. I am allowed to screw up my own back from time to time because I always have to try and sometimes say, "Oh shit, I did it this time!?" I seem to heal over time and sometimes life brings of ripple in my back that does the same results as lifting too much. I just have to keep on living and being myself and enjoying what I can enjoy while I can. Walking too much does not help me, bicycling seem to help as do weight machines. Lifting off the floor does not help and anything over 25lbs needs some help.
In the past month the back of my knee is tight every morning as if I need some stretching to limber me up but I am limber it is the nerves in my back that trick the body into saying that hurts when in reality that part is not hurt. When my back heals the pain goes away. Nerve damage does some strange tricks to the body and do cause pain in places where there is no pain. It is like the phantom pain in a leg where there is no leg.

Nice visit and pool party

Good morning. It has been a pleasant week here in Marion. My sister Sandy and her husband Jimmy came by to say hello with her daughter Sharon and her husband Scott (who looked very good considering what he went through) and also to have Sandy's bike worked on in Paducah, Ky. Allison and her family came by and mom cooked and cooked and everyone was very happy. We swam in the pool and surprisingly it was comfortable for this time of year. We went in yesterday and it was still nice. I will go in today and give it a good cleaning.
Sandy has some great photos at:

Hummingbirds fating up and getting ready for their fight south. We seen as many as ten birds around our feeder this morning. They have been drinking a bottle a day.

What a nice surprise.

My sister sent me a email last night that said, "We're getting ready to eat at the Great Wall in Princeton. Come join us or call me on the cell phone."
Princeton is only 20 miles south of us where Motherkitty works. I think they will get to see mom after eight this morning as they get on their way back to Berea, Kentucky.
If you ever want to see the beauty of Kentucky just follow Sandy on her motorcycle. If you go to her blog you can get just a taste of the pleasant rides she goes on.

It is late in the day and I have not been in the mood to spell words that hopefully convey a message.
I have been playing solitaire on the computer. My leg does not want to stretch out fully, it is the nerves in my back that is to blame, I have been there before and it is mildly unpleasant making me hobble like a chained convict, it is very unsettling and mildly unpleasant.

I was moving boxes and things back into our sons room (computer room) so that Allison and family will have more space than normal for their visit Monday afternoon. I was moving everything with my hand truck. I picked up a box thinking that this box won't hurt me without the hand truck and boy did I make a mistake. I was feeling great when mom left for work and now I have gone one or two days behind just because I moved one box (one box) without the hand truck. Oh well it is not that much of a deal but my brain just won't learn. I still feel good enough to finish what I planned to do today.
I have to say that those foreign corporations have made some fancy anti-Obama campaign commercials . There is nothing we can do about it since the Supreme Court ruled that corporations could have a say in electing a President. They have been sliding money into commercials like a Dr. Seuss Balanced budget. It is time to pull together and vote.

The War Chest of 2002

Do you remember everything going to the Pentagon War Chest in the year 2002. Wall Street got their share of war work. But where were my savings going? I was just trying to get by. If I remember correctly Halliburton was in 7th heaven with America's funds. We were just spending overseas, we were just spending overseas, we were just spending overseas and the Grand Old Party just loved it. The Republican War Chest was just full of goodies and all the big war machines were marching in goose-step with America's money.
In 2007 America realized that it was time for the common man back home to get his fair share of the profits and elected Barack Obama into the White House and the Republican War Chest was slammed shut. Corporate America sealed its doors and Wall Street put all it money in hiding and then the bubble burst. Now we have a lot of wealthy men standing around with their hands in their pockets just waiting for the Republican War Party to get back in office to get the War Chest rolling and chugging again. It is time to pull together and vote.

I awoke this morning in a good mood. I normally live and think in the space provided and then I go out of my space and get online or turn on the TV or read a newspaper. Something is this outer space has set my mood and I find it annoying.
Dreams do that and wives do that. We live in a social structure of creatures that look similar to us and do things similar to us. It may be that I cut my hair because it was tangling and it was taking too much time to untangle and while I was doing that a great amount of hair was being pulled out of place and deposited in the trash. No that is not it.
My mind is in a free state and I find it difficult to work with anyone that lives for the almighty dollar. I do enjoy working for money but I am not obsessed with the idea of gathering money for pleasure. My beef is with the folks that want me to work for nothing while they make a profit from my labor. There are tons of employers that belong to our chamber of commerce that do just that. Waiters and waitresses (I am counting McDonald's in there too) are the most abused people in the United States and if you ask their employers they will tell you that they are broke and penniless.
Crap give me a break. I asked someone the other day to do something for me free of charge and at first they said yes and the more they thought about it the more angry they got and they just refused to work for nothing.
I guess I should realise that folks do think a little different than me and they will not be slaves to anyone. But it is OK for them to employ waiters and waitresses and pay them pittance for a hard days labor.
Life is really unfair for some folks and there is nothing I can do about it but bitch on my blog.

How many of us on this planet are living in a peaceful environment? I am not talking about what you hear and see on your news source, I am talking about directly around you?

67 degrees and we have pink skies or a mixture of light pink clouds and a baby blue sky. That sounds like rain but we will have to wait to find out.
