Good Vibrations
It is a chilly 38 degrees outside. That is not enough to freeze the water but chilly enough to "shiver me timbers".
I feel good this morning. It is quiet and peaceful here in my home. I do hear the familiar water falling in our aquarium and my constant ringing in my ears whom I assume is the electricity moving through the wires in our home.
Mom went to the doctor and he said she has Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in her right arm plus her arthritis. I think the body has a solution for both Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and arthritis plus the knowledge of our local doctor. A smart human being and a smart doctor should help.
I believe in the human body plus the doctor and some folks believe only in the knowledge of a doctor. I believe that we control what is inside and outside our bodies which differs from what some folks believe which is only a doctor knows for sure.
I believe that our body can do proper house cleaning and some folks think that is foolishness. I know that we can use our brains to cleans our bodies properly without damaging our bodies and some folks think that is foolishness.
I understand the meaning of faith and that is internal, external, mental and spiritual. Good vibes go along way.

I am twenty years behind today's technology. We need a revolution.
The technology that the United States put into orbit is 20 years behind the technology that is in the hands of the worlds children as I speak.
My grandchildren are 10 years ahead of me with their technology and the Asian Children are 20 years ahead of me. I as a responsible adult do not comprehend how fast the technology is moving in Asia.
I have been asking our NARFE members to buy a $300 dollar laptop and get online.
I have two problems with that.
1. The government (city, state and national) are not moving to place WIFI in any and all places in the United States where as ASIA is doing that very quickly.
2. My NARFE members say they are too old to even bother to get involved with a laptop and WIFI.

Good Morning
It is quiet and peaceful here at home. The only sounds I hear is the water falling in our fish tank (aquarium) and the humming in my ears (listening to head phones too loud).
In the top photo mom found our cat sleeping in an Easter Basket and in the bottom photo dad saw this huge spider behind his chair.
We are now capable of showing photo slide shows via WIFI from my laptop to our HR24 HD DVR then onto the TV screen. The HR24 DVR is plugged into our home network.

It was nice being together at Thanksgiving.
Good Morning,
Allison and family is still here this morning. They will be having another Thanksgiving feast this evening at her mother in laws home in Paducah.
The grand children have really grown in stature and responsibility. They are also eating machines which was something I was waiting for as growth moves quickly through their bodies. Dancer girl was the biggest mover as her body moves from child to teen or young adult.
Every one was extremely active and young Talon was a exploding ball of energy.
I had a great time with everyone this Thanksgiving and am especially proud of my daughter for being a good mother with a great work ethic. I did thank her at least twice for her effort.

Thanksgiving Day
I did not do a thing yesterday but watch TV and watch the kids move about in play. Allison worked extremely hard with mom, then mom went to work and Allison continued to work extremely hard until she just collapsed just before Kentucky played basketball (2100); I then finished up the dishes for the day.
Mom will be up early and make pies, then make the turkey. Mom is an excellent cook.
Today I will watch Green Bay play football, the kids will watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
We will all pray 1300.
I find little brother to be just like me when I was his age. He is head strong and unwilling to budge, he will be a good man but we have to deal with him now. He needs another boy just like him to be friends with so they can rough and tumble together. At the moment his older sister does the job of being rough and tumble.
**
Our DVR crashed a few days ago and had the repairman over and he replaced our DVR with a new one. We did lose all of mom's saved movies; I save sports shows, then delete them after viewing but mom lost all her movies. We still buy DVD's but not as often as 3 or 4 years ago as my wages have not kept up with hard times.

Good Morning,
Allison and the kids are here for Thanksgiving. I find it very pleasant to wake up and see them here. I find a little bit of me in everyone; sometimes that is good and sometimes that is not as good. But that is how we evolve. I must say that the kids are a lot smarter than grandpa.
**
I find it amusing/amazing that history lived is a lot different than history learned. I also find it really nice that Dancer Girl can compete with grandma and her mother in Trivial Pursuit. Dancer Girl is an avid reader with both real paper books and downloaded books on her reader (Nook); grandma has a Kindle so they cannot share books.
**
I feel good this morning.

Thunder roared last night and the rain fell; it seems quiet now but the map shows more rain for Kentucky.
I tossed and turned as the lightning flashed and the sound of heavy rain on the roof woke me from time to time.
I feel sore this morning.
Mentally for me I am sound. I did watch Kentucky play basketball and NASCAR roar by yesterday.
I feel empty of thought and I seem to want to just sit and stare. The coffee is good and comfortable; it is a good taste this morning.
Loretta the Cat just by rubbed up against me and wanted me to pet her.
Loretta the Cat just by rubbed up against me and wanted me to pet her.
Mom's cat love me because I see them, sometimes feed them and open and close doors for them; but I see them because Mom loves cats inside our home. I would prefer just two mousers inside at a time and all the rest outdoors. I did ask one of them if they had seen any mountain lions outside in our neighborhood; they did not answer in any way I understood.
Here is a story about Kentucky wild life and mom. While I was at work (over 10 years now at least) mom heard a commotion outside, looked out and saw some steers in our yard. Mom is great with wild life and has no problem with dealing with animals. She went out to shoo them away but when she got out there a bull confronted her and she promptly moved back inside. She called our neighbor who informed her who owned the bull and steers in our yard. She called them and they came by and herded them back home which was just down the road and into a farm field of our neighbors.

While growing up in Pasadena (3 to about 9) my grandmother would take me wherever she went. She looked like a gray haired American Indian grandmother with long braids. She only spoke to me in Spanish (she grew up in a convent in Texas) and I only spoke English. In Pasadena I was not a boy who could ride in any moving vehicle, car, bus, trolley without getting sick (motion sickness and sometimes the fumes). The motion sickness was a constant with me. On one of her trips we went out in the country where one of our family or friends had a dairy farm. They had a son my age and he showed me the dairy operation and one of the bulls. I had no fear of bulls so when we went out in the bulls field we walked across the field until the bull started trotting toward us and we headed for the fence quickly. That part of the family/friend seemed rather well off.
On another trip with my grandmother we went out in the county to a home in an orchard; it looked ragged and poor with very little running water and chickens running free in the yard. The man of the house took me outside and showed me how to catch a chicken for dinner. Yes he did and I helped pluck the feathers. I was a city boy and felt like one.
In Pasadena my grandmother let me run free. I was not one to ride in any vehicle unless you wanted to clean it up after my ride.

Cold, windy and wet is all we can expect from our Autumn days; it is raining, not hard but just cold and wet enough to make a pumpkin frown. The leaves did fall and the city truck with a vacuum did come by and picked up the leaves, they will mulch them and give them away or sell them (city taxes). I do not rake leaves; I let the wind blow the leaves into their own piles. I know very large cities sell them. It is never good to burn mulch it hurts the environment. Fires by lightning burn enough property and trees without us helping. Organic matter feeds the worms in the earth and the worms enrich the soil for gardens and trees.
I did collect some Hibiscus seeds from Sandy's plants in our yard. I have one of Sandy's Yucca' in our yard too. I plan to plant those seeds into pots in January and plant them around our north and east side of our shed. I have them planted on the east side of our home and the west side of our shed.

I had a erosion problem on the west side of our shed so I loaded about 7 or 8 piles of rock there and pushed it under the shed then bought bags and bags of rich top soil and placed them on the rocks and then I planted the potted Hibiscus from Sandy there. It worked; because now the area is free from erosion and the Hibiscus bloom; they are a blessing to see and their roots hold the soil in place.

Good Morning,
The planet Earth revolves around the sun. Do any of you have any clue as to why we call this planet Earth. It seems every language has a name for this planet I call Earth.
Mom is home but will go to work later today. I feel good this morning.
The cats love flat solid surfaces to rest. I think they also love warm heated places like electronic devices. Since we have re arranged our daughters room the cats have gone there to rest; the bed to sleep on during the day and the new flat surfaces at night.

Diamonds are made by decay, not ash.
Clear skies, peace, 33 degrees. I am at home. I hear no screaming, no gunfire, no banging on the door. Our health is as good as 69 years of life on the planet earth. Diamonds are made by decay not ash; that is why I chip and shred my excess tree branches, leaves and limbs. Food scraps decay as well. Meat decays as well but for gardens meat offers a place for dogs to dig. Digging dogs are hard on flower beds and gardens. Otherwise meat is not a problem in the mulch cycle.
I am having a cup of coffee at the moment and I feel good about by being on the planet earth. Technology, taxes and planning has offered me a pleasant life in this brick structure. Water, electricity and gas travel from a distance to my home. An international telephone and Internet system via satellite signals and cables enable the planet to say hello immediately.
I could be standing by a fire outside or just standing outside. It could be warm outside at the moment if I moved my body south to Florida or San Diego. I choose to pay for services in my brick home here in Kentucky. So the gas furnace heats my home and the electricity moves a fan which blows warm air into each room. My telephone service provides a land line and the Internet. A satellite service provides high definition television.

The Cave
Though the opening I could see the drawing on the wall of the cave. The fire was throwing warm light, creating movement in the still night. I sat, watching the drawing on the wall. They had painted the sun on the cave wall. I remember back this morning, feeling depressed and sad. I had felt that the world was against me. I had felt the pain in the back of my head. I had felt terrible. I thought I knew what to do, so I had walked to the side of this mountain and gathered some wood and kindling. I had sparked a fire with flint in this cave. The first time I had seen the drawing, it had reminded me of how simple the past can communicate with the present. The simple drawing of the sun on the cave wall spoke of a time past. The time where one human decided to communicate with the future. They decided to tell us that they knew the sun. The simple drawing, a old circle and radiating lines told of emotions gone by. They told the story of someone drawing in this cave. The life trying to reach forward into the future. A life with a history, a life willing to create a drawing. A life whose time frame has long since gone. A life that had lived and loved, fought and cried. A life that had walked and talked in this cave. A life that had seen the sun. Sitting in this cave I look at the sun and realize that I am not alone. Someone has left a message on this wall. I watch the drawing as the fire's reflection plays tricks and dance on this wall. I know that someone else has sat here and watched this sun as it danced and entertained them so long ago. My sadness is long gone, as I slowly understand what I see, the muscle in my neck has relaxed, the pain I understand. It leaves my body. I'll come back here and sit at some other time.
I'll again share the time with the one who painted the sun.

9/11 changed everything.
It is raining. I have become skeptical as I awake with a headache. The world is not what was promised; the worlds tethers make my mind look like a nasty octopus with dreads. I have become like mom who does not want the world to know her personal thoughts. What I say is only a drain for the insanity of mind to scar the pages with darkness. Some days are better than others, some days the brook is clear and clean and on days like today the planet is insane. How strong do I have to be? The politicians take two hours in the morning to wash out the filth from their mouths (we never see the mind) before they become presentable for the cameras. I have a headache, I know it is the furnace and the fumes; It sucks all the good from my attitude as well as coating my mind and mouth with filth. Time for coffee.
This desperate moment will be my prayer and my salvation as the peace of the morning is being imprinted in my moment of peace.
The Supreme Court says that the GPS placed behind your license plate by the police is OK just do not place your car in the garage because when you do it breaks the 4th Amendment (that is when it seizes ownership of your privacy).
I think I am going to have another cup of coffee. I think I better get some fresh air into this home.
9/11 changed everything.

Good Morning,
Mom is home today and I feel good. It is still raining outside but the wind has stopped blowing. It was blowing very hard.
I do love the Internet, blogs, computers, TVs, Technology and the planet Earth. I think the planet is our garden to care for and I do not see any reason to think otherwise. I know that our cats normally go outside to go the bathroom but kittens have to be taught to do so or we compromise and gives them a reason to go indoors. It is the same with the planet. There is no reason to foul the air or crap in our neighbors yard. We all have shovels and gardens to tend to so please refrain from the short cuts to wealth.

EPA Regulations
Good Morning,
Mom is gone to work and I am alive and well. It may not have been so back in 1958 when I was in NAVAL Boot Camp in San Diego, California. Our Company Commander came up to me and said, "Your sick report to sick bay!" I reported to sick bay and they said that I had bronchitis and could not finish boot camp until it was cleared up. They gave me shots in my rear and laid me over a bed so that my hips were on the bed but my shoulders and head were hanging over into a paper sack in a trash can. I coughed and spit up gobs of goo from my lungs. I did this daily until it cleared up and the doctors felt I was fine. I was released from sick bay a week after my arrival and placed in another company after another week.
I did my tour of duty in the military and was released before the date of my 21st birthday ( kiddie cruise, go in before you are 18 and get out the day before you turn 21). I went home to La Puente but could not handle the smog because it burned my eyes so I went to San Jose where I had a friend who I had met in the Navy.
California air today is much cleaner than when I grew up in the San Gabriel Valley at the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains (1941-1958). Here is a photo of the smog I grew up with.
What does Kentucky Senator Rand Paul know about pollution?

Each Being
This is Sunday Morning and the planet is capable of reading what I write as soon as I click the publish post button.
I will tell the planet that peace is a possible solution because it is courage to be in peace, live in peace and to keep the planet clean. The solutions were created by our forefathers thousands of years ago. We as a child are understanding each nation, each being.
Each being.
What do I want?
Written in the Winter - January 2001.
The moon looks full with a halo of light around it. The air outside is crisp this morning and the temperature is in the teens.
Frost covers all the windows with its mosaic of frozen moisture.
Today is another day and the bright light shines through these windows.
I ask myself, What do you want?
And my answer is that I want all the women that I have ever loved to love me and to have a healthy and full life with all their dreams fulfilled. That is not too much to ask.
I want every being on this planet to understand their sum/sun/son and believe that what they believe is the truth.
I want to understand each being and understand what makes them look to the sky.
I want all the folks that love money to make it without creating a war of human behavior to earn it.
Today I make these wishes and I hope that everyone on this planet understands and does well today.

Good Morning.
I spent part of the day yesterday chipping and shredding my brush pile.
I am a little sore this morning from yanking at stuck limbs but that is all part of the brush pile. This chipper does not work as good as my old one.
Mom is off to work this morning and she is having trouble with arthritis over her whole body. After she relaxes it takes a big effort to move again. She loves working but does not like the pain. I may get her a hot tub or an indoor sit up bath as seen on TV.
0930
I went to sit and talk at the " American Medicine Chest Challenge ". It was remarkably successful as most folks hate the idea of flushing drugs down the toilet. Our Community has a high temperature furnace to completely remove all effects of those drugs collected to harmless ash.

Rep. Joe Walsh (R-IL) erupts at a constituent
During my time working for the Army Corps of Engineers job positions were filled by veterans preference for labor type jobs. I know that the United States Post Office did the same thing.
Positions that were vacated by retirement or death were filled by 5 or 10 point veterans. So during the end of the Vietnam War we were without our full compliment of employees for about a year or two. Then when the veterans were shipped home and settled we filled the Lock and Dam positions with them.
I can assume that the United States Federal Government did this across the United States.
Since 1980 the Federal Government has been given a bad name so those Congressmen that were born in the 1960-70's had no clue about the government and how it worked. They only knew what Ronald Reagan preached.
So the video above is what happens when the Reagan Propaganda Machine actually works and we get a pure hate of federal employees and regulations.

Veterans Day
I never considered myself as a Veteran even though my time was during the time of the start of Vietnam War. I spent most of my time at sea and a few months under Mushroom Clouds (April–July 1962).
By military standards I am a Veteran.

Jerry Said
A friend and I went out to the lake to catch some fish, we rented a boat and out on the lake we went. Things were slow at first but after awhile we caught our limit of big fish. Wow!
When the day ended he put a large X on the side of the boat to remember the spot where we caught the fish.
I said to him, "That won't work?!"
He says, "And why not?"
And I said, " Because we may not get the same boat when we come back tomorrow?!"
Jerry Said, It was this big! Fishing.
We have 28 degrees out-front and 33 degrees outback. That is what we normally expect the temperatures to be this time of year. It was slow to arrive even though we had a killing frost two weeks ago.
Mom is off work today.
I feel good this morning and I will remember Jerry in my prayer.
He was there for almost an hour, without even a nibble, when a young boy walked out onto the ice, cut a hole in the ice next to him. The young boy dropped his fishing line and minutes later he hooked a Largemouth Bass. The old man couldn't believe his eyes but chalked it up to plain luck.
Shortly thereafter, the young boy pulled in another large catch. The young boy kept catching fish after fish. Finally, the old man couldn't take it any longer.
"Son" he said, "I've been here for over an hour without even a nibble. You've been here only a few minutes and have caught a half dozen fish! How do you do it?"
The boy responded, "Roo raf roo reep ra rums rrarm."
"What was that?" the old man asked.
Again the boy responded, "Roo raf roo reep ra rums rarrm."
"Look," said the old man, "I can't understand a word you're saying."
The boy spat the bait into his hand and said... "You have to keep the worms warm!"

It is windy outside this morning. It did rain last night and the storm clouds are still visible. Someone to our north is going to get snow after their rain.
Mom is gone to work.
I feel good this morning and it is peaceful here after the rain and the election yesterday. We all obey the law and we have faith in our community. The Bank of America Storm Troopers are far from here.

I am up early; it is very dark outside and seasonally warm for Fall. I did look at the radar last night and a big cold weather storm is in our future; rain on one side and snow on the other side of the storm. It may go north of us but you never know about the weather.
I feel good this morning as thoughts of Jerry fill my morning thoughts. I know that strength and a remarkable bedside manor can help Jerry as well the strength of thought. We can flower the air with goodwill and ask the planet to awaken to remarkable will and good health.
Mom is off work today and she plans on doing a thorough cleaning of Allison's Room. (I am a constant user of spell checkers).

Sometimes I know the word because it is used quite often on the planet earth but I do not have a clue as to what spelling to look up? Google helps a lot because those folks have the common sense to understand that we as humans need help; so they have a database of mispronounced words or something close to the correct spelling and they give you a direction to go in. The dictionary's only give you correctly spelled database of mispronounced words. The words I had problems with were thorough and alot this morning.

I was very worried about our daughter and her children. I feel better about that and I know they feel better now.

We wish Jerry a safe recovery as we say a little prayer this Sun Day Morning.

I must say that my nose is running rather well. I drilled some holes in our wall last night before bed and that dust is making it's rounds and my body is flushing the dust out (runny nose). I have all the fans running to filter out the dust before mom gets home from work.
We wish Jerry a safe recovery as we say a little prayer this Sun Day Morning. Like all good people on the planet earth we are expecting a miracle, sometimes it happens. With the technology we have today we can perform it ourselves as a community. Believing in our ability takes care of over half the battle. Just ask Florence Nightingale.

34 degrees and heavy fog.
We have very dense fog this morning. This time of year when the temperatures just change suddenly means dense fog and freezing overpasses and bridges; this happens every year.
Mom is getting ready for work.
I took a photo of our Bald Cypress yesterday because of it's fall colors; in a week or so it will be bare of leaves. It's leaves are like feathers made of soft needles. It is deciduous and I planted it in our wettest area.
Do you see the mound it is on; that is a man made hill (I made it to plant a tree; this is our second tree on that spot). The hill is where I want our yard to be (elevation); the contractor took our land over to the hospital ; our neighborhood topsoil was scraped away and loaded on a dump truck to be used as fill for the hospital area when it was being built. Most of the homes in our subdivision are built on clay subsoil. Just maybe 4 or 5 homes out of 20 have good natural top soil. I have been building that mound out toward our home. If you take a string and place it at the top of that mound and pull it tight as you go to our homes foundation, that is where our land and garden should be. There is danger in bringing a truck into our yard full of soil, it will sink because of the spring under the clay. So moving soil has to be done with a back hoe or a smaller garden tractor.

It is a good morning where I live
But life is tough and it brings us all to reality very quickly. My sister called last night to tell us that someone in the family ended up in the hospital overnight and my daughter just called to inform me that she totaled her truck on slick rainy roads last night; at the moment they are fine.
This is a great time for me to say a prayer for my family.

I am up and it is raining and I hear thunder overhead. Nothing violent just the high clouds colliding and rain falling. I made a cup of coffee and it is just sitting there on the namesake table (the coffee table). I think I should stop typing and drink; it is good.
I was going outside to cut down some tall weeds that have dried up and add them to my brush pile. I have a pile ready for the chipper shredder; I did that yesterday. I collected some seeds that did not fall off our hibiscus plants. I will pot them this winter and see if they grow. I need some hibiscus on the south side of my out building and in front of the out building. If I have no luck with the seeds then I will purchase some plants that regrow well come spring. My sister gave me some seeds a few years back and I produced 20 or 30 plants from her seeds; I have not been able to reproduce that effort since. Maybe I need to buy one of those small cheap Jiffy starter kits from Walmart or just buy some Saran wrap and place that over my starter trays.

Do we remember the first time the wheel was created and
the wonder that was felt at that moment or
seeing on TV this morning the space shuttle leave the planet and go into orbit?
It is just amazing walking around this home with all these tools and wires placed everywhere.
The tools are created from someone's human brain and mass-produced for productivity.
We take all this for granted; just like we take our place on this earth for granted.
Do we really see what is happening?
Are we so callused or is our brain just numb from too much visual input?
We tried in the sixties too slow down the input by first seeing the man in front of us as being.
Grasping the moment at hand and enjoying it.
I still see in that way and I try to explain it to mankind.

Good Morning,
It is dark out in this area of the planet earth and it is quiet and to me peaceful.
Today I will go out and work on my brush pile; in a month or so our tomato plants will go into that pile of mulch.
I looked at the tomato vines and there were at least 500 green tomatoes that were created in our last month because of the late summer rains; those were very late maturing plants (Early Girl and Beefsteak); those plants can further develop the new garden area for the future. I have the line out there I used to hold the plants up that needs to be removed because it is not organic and will not organically break down (the sun will dry rot it); it can be reused next year (those type of lines last 2 or 3 years before they fall apart; our solar cover is the same).
The last solar cover we got was very heavy mil (thickness); it turned out to be non functional as mom could not handle it by herself and made the late night pool swim impossible. Our next cover will be easy to handle but will not last very long.

I do not know what happened but my monthly paychecks went down by $200 in one year.
I woke up early and did some browsing on the Internet and wrote some thoughts. At the moment it is peaceful here at home and I feel fine.
Mom cut down some bushes and vines yesterday and this morning after I moved them I think the vine was Poison Ivy. I just removed all my clothes after realizing that I was working with Poison Ivy and washed them. I dare not think about what will happen next and I will not scratch anything anytime within the next day or week.

Mom says that they can not do that.
The powerful words of blogs and the power to corrupt the United States Constitution.
Last week something happened at my bank when my funds were put on hold and my websites were seen as paid as I paid them then two days later as not paid as my bank funds were put on hold. I called the bank and they had no clue why the funds were put on hold; I called the website and they said maybe it was some glitch in the system.
I think that power corrupts and they think they can do as they please with banks and websites and ignore the United States Constitution.
Mom says that they can not do that.
