Good Morning,
Mom is getting ready for work. We both feel fine and it seems by the quiet here at our home that we are at peace in this neighborhood.
We do have a standing army around us or is it a threat to keep your distance if you plan some chaos or is it the Constitution that asks each of us to behave by law. I know that religions do that but what if we have 30 religions all working at one time, how do you behave, again it is the United States Constitution.
" We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."
The strangest thing that happened in my lifetime was sending troops to Iraq, it is also the stupidest thing to happen.
On on 6 August 1945 and on 9 August 1945 we as a nation dropped bombs to end violence. I know that that is a paradox, but it worked because we were not bothered until September 11, 2001.
We have been in other places (Korea, Vietnam) doing what we though was right (not in my opinion).
As a planet we can be part of the whole army (World Police) to keep peace. But just in case someone wants to declare war on the United States we just end it for them.
