The Bluegrass of Western Kentucky

The world in Western Kentucky is groomed by society. The bluegrass is trimmed by the rural livestock that grazes on the rolling hills. The colorful birds fly in the gardens of homes in the area. There is magic in the wave of rural greetings. There is bluegrass around the brown mulch that is worked into the rectangular gardens of vegetables behind the homes of Western Kentucky. The five-inch depth of soil is created by the history of roaming historical animals and the falling leaves blown across the rolling landscape.

There is a comfortable slowness and pleasure of being on this landscape. Yes this is part of this planet; an oasis of blue rolling hills.
