The color of our sky is a subtle blue and pink - stratus. Perfect for the Easter Bunny to wake up to. We have lost all our bunnies to hunters and coyotes. Deer are the dominate creatures we see on the road ways today. When I arrived in Kentucky in 1962 wild rabbits were the norm, deer were rare and seldom seen. In the late seventies Turkeys were brought in and the laws on deer hunting were changed to bucks only. The deer and turkey thrived and as they did so did the coyote and wild feral dogs. The dogs were hunted out with leash laws and only the coyotes and big cats remained. The big cats know that they will be hunted so they stay away from man. They are rare but I have saw one in the early 1980's. When I saw it I thought it was a deer because of the tawny color but when it jumped over a fence it stretched out like a cat and its long tail gave it away, deer do not have 3' long round tails.
I feel good this morning and it was a pleasant day to awake on the planet earth.
