I went into the kitchen to make a cup of coffee and saw that one of our drawers was open. Our cat Alley Cat used to sleep in the kitchen towel drawer. She learned to open the drawer. She would place her hind legs on the bottom drawer pull, place her forward paws on the towel drawer pull (above) and lean back. The cabinet is so finely crafted that it took very little leverage to open the drawer. This is a very pleasant picture to mom and I because we both still love that cat and her independence.Alley Cat at left (15 years) and Dolly at right (1 year).
Nice picture of your cats. We have a cat that opens cabinet doors and tries to go in there to hide or sleep but there is no room for her so she just comes back out after a brief walk. You would think we have a ghost in this house at night hearing cabinets opening and closing.
