The Sun Day

A time for reflection and relaxation. But Motherkitty has to work on the sun day.
In Kentucky we have the Blue Laws which are ignored and now are left up to the cities in each county.
Blue Laws seem a little extreme but we have to remember that people in power centuries ago worked slaves seven days a week.
The Bible asks you to rest on your day of prayer which is ignored and now are left up to the people.
I personally believe that each moment on this planet should be a spiritual quest of wonder and learning.

  1. When I first moved to Kentucky they still had the Blue Laws in effect and I hated them. I was so used to everything being open seven days a week.

It's too bad that Motherkitty has to work today, but when you're retired one day is as good as the next and it doesn't really matter what day of the week it is anyway...they're all Sundays or whatever day you want to call them.
