Internet Explorer 8

I have been using Internet Explorer for the last two days and it a slow browser. They said they were going to speed it up (Microsoft may have) but it very slow on my Vista computer. It could be when I loaded it it also loaded some back taxes from Microsoft (lumbering software).

I may have to remove Vista and reload it; I did it once last year.
Every time these programs keep updating they add more security which bog the program down.
