The last rain blew over our Sunflowers pictured. I went out and saw that the root-wads were pulled out of the ground. The ground was not strong enough to hold the sunflowers in place so I got some tomato stakes and put them alongside the sunflowers. But that was not enough so I stepped on the root-wads and pushed them deeper into the ground . That did not work so I placed stones on the root-wads and tied the sunflowers to the tomato stakes. All that held while all that time above I had my back to the sunflowers while I worked my magic. Plus it was sprinkling all the while.Wednesday, July 6, 2016
