We had an inch of rain last night on this area of the planet earth. It is 66 degrees outside this morning and partly cloudy. The lighting and thunder moved east.
It was just after dark when the lighting showed up and then the loud claps of thunder and then it poured.
Some day the weather map will loo like the photo of the planet at left, in real time at the moment.
I know that a weather satellite failed or was shot down a few days ago. But we always have one waiting in the wings. I am not sure whether/if Apple (China) shot down the Google Maps (United States) satellite or not but that is my wild tale of what happened.
I feel good this morning.
