It is peaceful outside my door this morning. The 405 is news in the distant West, it has no meaning here. Noisy city streets are just words to me. I have to go to youtube to hear them. The ringing in my ears is the loudest sounds I hear.
Interstate 75 has been shut down three times in the last couple of weeks. The first accident occurred right in front of our eyes, the second involved around 42 vehicles and the night before last a man in a paint truck took the wrong ramp and headed the wrong way and hit a car head on.
Our traffic is nothing compared to the congested traffic out West though. But when accidents happen between Mt. Vernon and Richmond, all the interstate traffic brings Berea to a screeching halt.
Now I'm going to have to read the news to find out what the 405 out West is.
