Western Kentucky Rivers

Today I re-pot my Aloe Verde plants . My older plants have given off at least 10 new off shoots. Those need to be re potted.
We have partly cloudy skies in the Western part of Kentucky.
Have you seen so many rivers in all your life as in Western Kentucky. We have the Cumberland River, The Ohio River, The Tennessee River and over there The Mississippi. Those are all major rivers. There is also near by the Green River and The Wabash River.

The above map is hard to read but it gives good details as to why the Union wanted control of the rivers in Kentucky. Whomever controlled the rivers controlled swift movement of troops and supplies.
There are four major river trade routes in Western Kentucky.
The Mississippi River
The Ohio River
The Tennessee River
The Cumberland River

  1. How about the Sandy River? Or is it the BIG SANDY River? All kidding aside, there are lots of rivers and waterways in Kentucky. We're just plain lucky to live in such a lush place and that's why I call it Paradise.
