I have IE 8 , Firefox 3.0.9, Chrome and some other browsers on this Dell Inspion 1520 Vista Home Basic laptop.So far the fastest loading browser is Firefox 3.0.9 that is from the time I click the browser on my desktop to viewing my home page. The other browsers ( including Firefox 3.5 Beta 4) may be faster after the browser loads but so far Firefox 3.0.9 is my favorite and fastest from a cold start.
I think that Firefox 3.5 Beta 4 will load faster after they tweak it under the hood but for today Firefox 3.0.9 is the fastest on this machine.
