Good Afternoon,
I covered the solar panel with a tarp and bubble wrap to protect them from freezing weather. I was windy out there but it was blowing lightly from the south and it acted like me putting a bedspread on a bed. All I had to do was tie down the southern end and walk my tie down up one side and the then other. After I got it in place I used heavier tie downs to even it out a little. When I was done I put four straps on it to hold it for the winter (see example).
