Answers dot Com

We have more clear skies this morning. I feel good this morning as I normally do. I am floating in the clouds of dreams like Alfred E Neuman.
I just asked answers dot com about Alfred and this is what they wrote:

I have just had a cup of red tea with honey and cream as my replacement for coffee. Coffee stimulates me fine but has done a number on my stomach and has caused some problems. The red tea is very strong like coffee if steeped 10 minutes and has no side effects that I am worried about at this point in time ( 9/17/2010 0832).
I love the long days where time is a moment to moment existence. I get to savor each breath and the wonderful view that complements that time.

Remarkable Human Beings

It is nice to compliment the planet for it's remarkable human being population. Somehow we have overwhelmed the planet with our numbers and also keeping all other species at bay or out of sight.
We still do have some wild human beings that swing axes or repeating firearms for pleasure or tote religious text as propaganda or pay for power but for the most part we are quite remarkable.
I have a whole sack of friends and relatives that are quite remarkable but I will not disarm you with compliments by name. Just be it said that if I know you, you are quite remarkable and talented.
We have managed to secure a portion of the planet with law and dignity.
At the moment we are split by propaganda but once we see though it we see the decency of law and good behavior we vote for that.

Remembering September 11, 2001

September 11, 2001
Delicate Being

We are so vulnerable. Our hearts are very strong.
But when it comes to violence our body cannot protect itself without help.
I was told that a plane had hit one of the World Trade Center Buildings in New York.
I walked over and looked at the TV, as I watched the fire and
smoke in one building, another plane flew right into the other building.
I knew then that something was not right.
I knew that something evil was taking place right before my eyes.
I realized that human bodies were being consumed by fire and wreckage.
The intense heat was vaporizing human lives in those buildings.
I knew that the smoke was going to smother the lives of human beings trapped in the upper stories of these two buildings.
As I watched in amazement white/gray smoke fell slowly to the ground.
I thought to myself, " The other building is disappearing and falling to the ground."
The concrete from the building was falling on human beings and disintegrating them right before my eyes.
This catastrophe was pulverizing human life.
More that two thousand human lives were being blown to bits by the heavy weight and pressure of the falling building.
The vaporized bits of concrete and human beings formed a cloud that billowed over the earth.
This dust of human form and concrete settled on the earth.
Only pieces of life were blown away to fall to the ground and settle into their own dust.
I watched again as the second building fell in the same manner with the same results.
It is difficult to understand why another human being would take pride in seeing this happen.
It is difficult to understand why any one would think that this was good and that god would approve of this violence.
The dust of these human beings will settle over the earth.
The dust that is choking me was once alive, a life with a family.

Where is the value in the lighthearted flower?
Could I paint a wonderful picture of a mare standing with her foal behind a black fence swishing
her tail in the colors of the fall foliage?
Would there be any harm in painting a picture like that.
Could I write a poem about dreams in an obscure language making it flow with delight?
Would there be any harm in that?
I have wonderful choices. So why can't the world have those choices?
Where did the world depart in the wonderful dreams of youth?
Are we going to stand up and say what is on our minds?
I think the world knows that we are divided and together as one.
We will all behave differently.
We will condemn violence but we will try to stop a recurring ball from bouncing out of control.
Will our words make sense? Nope!
Our emotions will tell the story.
***
In the minds of the young, terrorism has sealed it's own coffin.
The world now knows that death of two thousand people will not solve any of their problems.
Like an old factory, the framework of their minds will have to be retooled.
They'll have to update their thoughts and realize that violence does not solve anything.
They are condemned in the minds of the world.
The prison is in their minds; the falling building will fall repeatedly in their dreams.
The screams of the children of god will slide down their walls.

Why I was Angry by Congressman Anthony Weiner

It is good that this is brought out and in the eyes of the public. Wrong is wrong no mater how you paint it.

It is sunny and peaceful in Western Kentucky.
I remember the dust and I knew that it was dangerous on September 11, 2001 in New York City. Concrete dust mixed with everything in those building will kill and that is what we have to pay for. I know that the " T Party" will not want to pay any tax to help those people.
If they want to pay a tax to help those people then write your congressmen and say so.
I know that they will not write their congressmen because they have some kind of excuse to not write their congressmen.
Congress will vote for a tax if you say so.
I know you do not believe this.

Here is what I wrote on that day.

We have a water leak. It is cold but coming from under the water heater. Anything to do with gas water heaters in Kentucky requires a licenced plumber.
We had it fixed and now we have a new shut off valve. The old valve was spraying on the water heater and not our wall so it was a little bit invisible to the eye of a normal human being. A plumbers eye found the leak by crawling and poking, inspecting and fudging (he followed the money for him that's water).
Mom fixed a great brunch as I finished the deck. The deck just needs to dry in this intense heat and tomorrow I will start applying the sealer. "Gaahed!" that's back breaking, but there is no other way to do the job right. I do good floors and decks. I give um hell with a 4" brush.

History is a Nice Reminder

History is a Nice Reminder. Everyone I know quotes some famous human being for their observation of life. The key to that last statement is the "observation of life" statement. Every well known quote explains it to you and all you have to do is understand the quote. Life is good when the world explains all we need to know in a simple lesson. Yes we can complicate the circle with mental formulas but that is only to taste.

Good Morning

I awoke early this morning somewhere in time around 4:00AM. I tried getting online but my computer was busy and I just looked at it a minute ago when I shut it down. I always said that you are what you are and If you train your mind to be good then you will. Listening to sad songs without a lot a friends hanging out and singing out loud is best left alone. Alone you just have to zone out with Zen and marvel at the human being you are then look beyond your self and poof there is a friend. Wow!
Love ya sis

Good Friday 2010 Years After The Torture

Life is full of puzzles and the logic as to why a human being is put to death so inhumanly. What a terrible thing to do and call it good or call the day that the man was painfully hammered to a wooden cross with spikes good is beyond any common sense.
Well today is two days after this anniversary and we honor him by painting rabbits and boiling/painting chicken eggs taken from mother hens.
We might as well paint him up like up in pastel paints like 1967 Hippies and make him elevate above a granite stone as we fall to our knees.
This reminds me of the scandal the church has turned a blind eye to by waving incense over a crowded room.

Sometimes Things Never Change

I hear folks say that the "New Deal" created by FD Roosevelt was a failure. How can they have any prospective when they were not there? Folks are comparing the Obama Stimulus Package as a new "New Deal" and is doomed to failure because it seeks to provide money to city/state/employer for the creation of jobs.
Why would someone say that a finding a way to help an unemployed human being is a failure. I started working as a temporary worker and my wife has had to start again as a temporary worker.
I am done as a 9 t0 5 employee, I do work for the Crittenden County Drug Coalition and The Active and Retired Federal Employees Association.
I just think they are balking because our young population elected a black man. Corporate America almost has them back in their palms. They have waged a negative war against Obama. Some of us see through all the propaganda and wonder how easy it is to sway a mind with money and negative words.

I just awoke in this darkness, sometime during the night the day changed to Thursday. It is 16 degrees outside this morning. Mom opened the door to view the chill and maybe to let the cat in or out, it was not her choice, she was just part of the machinery that open or closed the door. We have a cat rubbing my leg and a noise of a fan pushing heat throughout our home. The cats are adjusting each other in their pecking order. It is time for this human being to scoop-out the cat chow.

Space Shuttle Endeavour

There is always something going on on this planet and one thing is that the space shuttle Endeavour is is going to fall and glide to a landing in Florida.
I awoke with a headache behind my eyes and headed to the bathroom for some hot steaming water to inhale into my head. This always relieves the pressure. I then turn up the heat under the pot of water on the stove and I am fine for the day.
It is 40 degrees and partly cloudy out, our ground is wet as it thawed and water will now drain to the Ohio River.
I watched Kentucky play Vanderbilt and just win. Teams really play their best ball when they play Kentucky. Egos are at their highest and talent is put to the test as well as the natural ability of the players. It is difficult for a human being to preform like a skilled basketball player consistently. They learn as they go and perhaps as they age their skills will help their families.

Good Morning.
A little prayer to those in need and think of that lady that prayed for five days in darkness in Haiti on her knees (she could not move).
A saw a man removing steel from the concrete to salvage - just doing what he could just as every human being there in Haiti was doing. Surviving.

Health Care for Everyone is Dead

What a terrible thing to wake up to. I thought the a Democratic Government would usher in a Health Care Program for everyone.
Where does the United States rank in the world as far as health care goes?
37th between Costa Rica and Slovenia

Who is profiling with the system we have now? The insurance companies. Those companies are not creating anything that I am aware of, I do not see a two year supply of free health care under my Christmas Tree this Holy Day Season.
Do you remember those guys in the Mafia movies, "Yo gonna be protected or lose yo sto!", "I'll be bac tomoroo for da thousand!" That is my insurance man talking with a blue suit and a red tie and not a hair out of place and probably the most Christian looking human being I have ever met.

This Sunday morning is a mixture of old and new

Television is like a huge cartoon network. It is where your senses are bombarded with color and sound.
I remember back in 1950 at night on a TV set there would be test pattern usually in the shape of a full screen logo. It was used by TV repairmen to adjust horizontal settings, vertical settings, contrast, brightness and color on the tube.
What do these people want to tell you and where are they leading you.
I remember during the ice storm that there was no electricity and any thought from this brain would have to be penciled into a notebook.
It is early Sunday morning and my life has been very physical until these last few years. I remember moving rock as in a chain gang. The work makes my muscles sore.
Hard work drives out the time to ponder and to muse.
I learned that work is part of life and part of the ability to survive. Being paid to work is a bonus. Work has nothing to do with society; it is strictly a personal thing.
I grew up thinking that a human being had to work a nine to five job and that if you did not work for society you were a slacker. That thought is pushed into the minds of human beings in our society and creates a false sense of moral values of doers and slackers.
The world has learned to abuse the ability of work by creating slaves to do their work; causing me to think that work is part of the evil when in realty it is the man that controls the slave that is evil; not the work.
Where ever you find a group of men working as slaves you always see a few men that are content with their lives and you wonder why. I know why now.
Yes we must free man from slavery; not free man from work; pounding rock is not evil.
We should also free man from the propaganda implanted in the brain about work.

Today I am reminded of the complex beings that we are. We use our bodies to handle intense physical manipulations.
Our bodies handle dexterity with grace. The younger and stronger child with will and determination can climb a sheer wall.

In my life I have had a yearning to work very well and it showed.
I was not into vanity or dressing to fit in.
I was into work, what the body does to fulfill human desire, to achieve the light in the blue sky.
At that time I had no clue of any talents in my possession, other than a good work habit.
How could I know how to climb a creative ladder?
I thought what I created was meager, as I do now.
The difference is that I want the world to know that I exist.
The ego has stepped to the forefront.
The dazzling red cape is teasing the bull.
I am getting older and I want all the world to see the day.

What happens when you suppress the ability to work or you by physical inability stop working?
That energy has to go somewhere.
Now that I am old I do not have the physical ability to work. I cannot just watch TV or those patterns of color, my body has to move that energy from the body to the world with out abusing tired and old muscle. I can stretch and twist but at my age (worn out body) I either have to die or do something.

The Department of the Interior was listening to 40 Native Indian and Environmentalists to get a input on how to work clean energy into our national lands without endangering those living there (plant, animal and human being) and still create clean energy.
The idea was to listen to what these communities want from our government plus those speaking were seeing who to talk to make this work (They got to shake hands with people who had the missing ingredients to there shared thoughts and could work together to solve problems.).

Labor Day

This morning I hear a cricket outside last week it was a cicada off in the distant trees.
At one time in the United States children worked alongside adults in factories and mines. That started to change in 1832.
Groups of people united to change the way we were treated at work. Those unions of people have pretty much disappeared since Ronald Reagan fired Federal Employees for standing their ground.
Ronald Reagan pretty much learned how to treat people from the movie industry where people were moved around by Directors who worked for Producers.
Workers unions helped organize health benefits and retirement plans for their employees - that has pretty much disappeared.

It is early Monday morning and my life has been very physical.
In the past I have been moved rock as in a chain gang. The work made my muscles sore.
Hard work drives out the time to ponder and to muse.
That is something I learned at Tolstoy Farm and Morningstar Commune; I learned that work is part of life and part of the ability to survive. Being paid to work is a bonus. Work has nothing to do with society; it is strictly a personal thing; society benefits from my work.
I grew up thinking that a human being had to work nine to five jobs and that if you did not work for society you were a slacker. That thought is pushed into the minds of human beings in our society and creates a false sense of moral values of doers and slackers.

Natural Selection

I though of Jesus when I read this recently. Jesus understood who he was and he told everyone who he was and they believed him so well that we are still talking about him today. That is a natural selection by humanity as a whole and that is one of the things Darwin was talking about in his book, "On the Origin of Species".
It is one thing to understand god and Jesus and it is another to worship him and exclude humanity as a whole.
We have a Ministress in town who does exclude parts of humanity and still extols the virtues of Jesus.
I grew up Catholic and wondered why Jews were punished? My friend Emory was Jewish and he felt the brunt of the pain and he rebelled. I have had two other Jewish friends and both rebelled. I could not understand religion in the old Christian terms that excluded humans and animals there had to be something that understood god. The bible was the first place to give me a clue in Genesis and the revolution in 1960's was the second clue when my young friends started passing out books on religion and philosophy on the communes. The words equality and freedom were ringing true as were the words of Jefferson, Gandhi, Siddhartha Gautama, Confucius and Tolstoy.
All these people were right. What was the common theme? Well they all opened theirs mouths to speak. And what did they speak about? What is the first thing that comes from your mind and out of your mouth when you see a beautiful sunset? When was this first uttered; I'll bet it was way before any languages were set on walls?
Am I getting closer to the truth or is the truth always passing before my eyes just as a human being walks near me going there and there. Is it my responsibility to understand them and also theirs to understand me.
Some folks were capable of writing or voicing their thoughts and we read about them because they touched our hearts.
We are all the books.

24 Tigers Killed in Panna Tiger Reserve - None Left

The delicate realm of being,
wrapped in ones skin.
Your careful to caress the emotions of others.
To coax comfort.
To sway being across the mind.
The pleasant hello.
Swell the ego with love and comfort
and let them walk free.
Have a nice day.

We are the strong human being. The mountain lion, wolf, coyote and bear know this, they stay out of our way. Deer, horses, cattle, bison, elephants, cats, fowl and dogs have learned to live with us.
There is a story in the headlines above where big cats who had a place to share have been push out of existence by us the human being.
It was not the powerful banker with an ego that does what it pleases and lets us eat cake who has chased to tiger away it was the man that wanted land to work.
I understand because the wolf and bears are not wanted in Western Kentucky, if they arrive here they will be shot and killed, so they stay away.
People live with law - well they condone law - if they did not want me here then like the Jews in Israel they would be shot.
I had a friend Emory who understood this, he was wild so he went his own way and pushed beyond the law - I do not know where he is?

When I lived on the commune we practiced the art of living together so we gave each human being the space to occupy. I know that this is a behaviour pattern as is our preamble but it worked and we learned the word god and freedom. We had a standard we gave the area of land called, "Morningstar" to them as in, "Land Access To Which Is Denied No One".
So we will sympathize with the big cat then shop and work at Walmart.

Living with History

Yesterday was Mother's Day.
We went to church and the man said, "Some folks worship the Mother of God (We can assume the Virgin Mary) but we do not worship her, we respect her."
My mind fell to the floor. God placed the seed into the Virgin Mary.
This has nothing to do with religion this is about history and the written and spoken words of men.
Some of the women of the world say god is a female; the old world painted god as human. I was taught in church that god was omnipotent and omnipresent.
I thought at a young age that god looked over the planet and over me. That changed when I realized that each human being on the planet had a brain and thought differently about religion or their spiritual being. How could some folks be right and some folks be wrong?
The answer is that we think in terms of being a human being (see photo). Since we are, "The Greatest." we sometimes assume that god is in our image (man or woman).
Our world has always been enlightened but now with the ever presence of knowledge we can go beyond the world in our thoughts of the word god and what it means in our minds as well as the mind of the planet (the birds and the bees).

Refresh

A refreshing new day; the beginning of something new. The last post spoke of the last day and now we speak of a new day. Ideas? History? Great Math?
We are not monkeys we are naked human beings with cotton cloth and hides to keep us warm; we possess a great intelligence; we have counted the stars and know where they are; we know when time begins and ends. So today is the new year in our time.
We have never been here before but we are comforted by society, we do not fear the unknown as we step forward in time.
We move into the future every day and every moment. Every day we renew our vows.
Funny I do not remember dates and names nor store information in my brain as an average human being, the affection of a mother and the teachings of a father were not given to me until my later years. But I do possess what I sought and that was my ability to understand the unknown capabilities of each of us.
I will always wish to be the great philosopher but I will always be simple in thought and basic. I will always want great wealth but that will never come my way.
I create simple beauty as illustrated in my Bonsai weather station above and my drawing of Gollum below.

Gollum is hiding in his darkness protecting his precious.
