I noticed that the parts of our cities in Western Kentucky have sidewalks. They were put there when the city grew. Now the sidewalks are part of the old homes in town. The new home and roads in the city do not have sidewalks. The road out of town where the new stores are built do not have sidewalks. Our mother and her carriage have to walk in the street or ditch. Old men pulling or pushing carts have to walk in the street and as we drive by; we wish they would walk elsewhere.
