We are
coming to time when we celebrate the time that Jesus left his grave.
But before
that time, human beings nailed Jesus to a cross. It was not the Jewish folks in
that city it was the courts and the law that let folks have their way.
Why did they
convict Jesus of a crime? They crowned Jesus. Did they think he was a king? Why
did they use thorns? Why the cruelty? Why did they parade him? Here in town we
have a parade every year but we do not place thorns on a human being and make
him carry a heavy wooden cross along our streets to let folks know that he is our
king.
What the
hell was that about?
