Our Van broke down and it will cost us and "Arm and a Leg" to fix it or buy another vehicle. We are more likely to go in debt and get another as the last time we fixed our older vehicle for two years and it cost us about $5000 per year to keep it running. it is cheaper in the long run to get a newer vehicle than to continue to pay out that kind of money each year.
