I think I was Stationed on this Ship at this time The Tender (Repair Ship (25)) I remember putting the RADAR up on the ship across the pier. The Ships tied off alongside the USS Frontier to be repaired.
We had welders, an optical shop, a foundry, machine shops, electrical and electronics, secret machines, wood working, pipe fitters, boilermakers and just about any type of service needed on ships.
