Let Us Be

Good morning,
I am Home:
Are you aware as Jesus on the cross, Gandhi at the spinning wheel, Martin Luther in his thought, Martin Luther King at the podium, Tolstoy at home, Michelangelo with a chisel, Leonardo at the easel or me at home. I am home and I am aware of my surroundings; I tell my wife that I would be perfectly happy in jail, in a small log cabin, on a desert, at sea or at home in our small community. I see eyes that look at me a wish I were elsewhere; their voices are quiet and happy, let us be.
