Bald Cypress and Mint

Good Morning,
I am outside on the deck and it is 57 degrees on the 5th of July. When we went to town a few days ago the corn was 6 foot tall (“Knee High by the Fourth of July” was the local saying here in Kentucky).
The kitten is outside playing in this cool weather; it is perfect for the amount of energy she has. She is jumping at everything that hops or flies by. I did feed the cats outdoors and we did not have enough in the paycheck to get a garden hose for my solar heater, some bird seed and the Sunflower I wanted. Our trip out west was too much for our budget and we are just getting caught up. In our environment we do not earn enough to keep up with all the extras that society wants us to have and maintain a lifestyle. It is one or the other. We choose the home comforts but we never have enough for maintenance or trips. I can do without the TV, DirecTV and the Phone (Laurel loves those comforts so I compromise). The Internet I would keep; the heater I would keep and the conditioned air I would keep, but all else could go.
This morning this laptop works fine but the sun has not shined out here yet and when it does I would like to have an “E Ink” Word processor/laptop to deal with the sun. The Brothers Word processor started out to do that but they went out of that business when the laptop became the norm, just a few of us wanted to write outdoors.
Here is a photo of our Bald Cypress and 15' round of  Mint.
