Yes I had a great Birthday. My daughter and family came by to help me celebrate my birthday. All birthdays are special but by my point of view mine was a little different.
There is some history involved which makes my life a little more complete as I move forward. I as a child was deprived of a section of life that is quite normal for most folks. That section is missing in mind though I am sure I was there, mentally it is gone from my memory (1 to 3 in age and the comfortable warmth of a mothers love during that time ).
Two young women saw it rather quickly at Tolstoy Farm and offered it to me right away. One was love from a woman and the other was friendship and her ability to see where I was missing the child development that only a mother could provide to a child. My friend read to me from A. A. Milne's, "Winnie-the-Pooh". It was a loving and comfortable time in my life. How she sensed this missing moment in time in my life I do not remember but it happened.
One of the reasons for being with my wife was her wonderful voice and her ability to tell stories.
Well one of the gifts I received was from my daughter's reading to her children and me from the A. A. Milne's, "Winnie-the-Pooh" book. It was amazingly fun, lovable and nice. Milne had a way with words that make you smile and my daughter's voice is as nice as her mothers (MotherKitty).
We also celebrated my granddaughter's Birthday too. 72 and 12 were on the cake plus a swim in the pool and a great time was had by all.
love you dad....glad you liked it :)
