A Post From Laurel and Tom

Dennis: I am on the plane on my way to Houston, Texas. Mom is sitting next to me as she watches the full moon in the sky.
We are moving very fast; this small jet seems faster than a bigger airliner. We have about an hour to go (it is Friday  0715) and we land about 0820. We are packed tight like sardines.

Laurel: The sky is clear blue but the earth is shrouded in misty clouds.  There are puffy clouds above the earth and it is impossible to see what’s on the ground.  The big, bright sun is to our left, rising on the east and we are flying south.  When we arrive in Houston, we will have a very short time to get to our next plane.  Hopefully it will be a normal-size plane rather than a sardine can.  We are scheduled to arrive in San Diego around 10:45 a.m.   Eli and Aprilyn will be waiting for us at baggage claim.  Then it’s off on our vacation adventure.

Tomorrow morning, very early on a Saturday, we will pack up the car and head to Las Vegas to visit my sister Karen.  She is looking forward to our spending several days with her.  We may leave either Monday or Tuesday morning and head to Los Angeles.
Dennis: We had a lot of help from the airport staff getting to our next plane in IAH - Houston, TX, USA, without their help we would of missed our flight (it was a comfortable adventure going from one end of  IAH - Houston, TX, USA  to the other) We have a warm feeling about the air port stall at IAH - Houston, TX, USA, again thank you  .

We are now on a bigger plane headed for San Diego. Powerful is a good word to describe this plane; our earlier flight seemed quick and fast and again I say this flight is smooth and powerful. Mom is sitting beside me.
Here is where we had lunch with our son after he picked us up from the airport; the food was very very good .
After lunch mom got a new phone.

(Mom just walked in and said, "Here are your glasses, have you seen mine?" I was wondering why I was having so much trouble writing this post.) I was wearing moms glasses in the dark.
