Fathers Day

Thunder and lightning are here this morning but I was asleep when the heaviest and hardest part of the storm came through. I put a little square on Marion, Kentucky so you can see what came over while I was asleep.
Today is a day of peace and reflection. It was asked of me by our society to rest on this day. Tradition has created a place and time so I follow a simple non-repressive state of being by just relaxing and to be in presence.
Our birds have eaten all of one section of our feeder.
Mom is off work today and wished me a happy fathers day. Celebrations are always a good thing as they do create an atmosphere of civility and peace.

  1. The other day we received an emergency disaster radio...it was delivered by UPS and every household in our area is getting one free from our beloved U.S. Government. It comes with specific instructions not to take them apart and look inside. (That's a no no) The instruction booklet is complicated and I read every word like it said to do FIRST, then I forgot every word and plugged it in, pushed every button to get a feel for how it works. I managed to get Elvis singing, "hold me close, hold me tight, let me feel with delight, let me know how we stand from the start. I want you, I need you, I love you....with alllllll my ha,ah,a,ha,ah,a,ah,ah,a, heart."
