The Pumpkin Festival was a success. Like all small town festivals they are full of surprises and joyful cheers and reunions and for those sponsoring the festival a lot of hard work.I spent 2 hours in the morning at the festival and a 1 hour in the evening there helping put up and put away the inflatable tumbling, climbing and slides. I also spent some time at the very beginning taking tickets and putting on "all day" bracelets.
The wind came up later in the day with some light rain while I was at home so I went back downtown.
You serve your community well and volunteer your time for the benefit of others. We all should follow your example.
