It seems like a misty morning

But it is not. Moisture is everywhere and the humidity is going to climb today as Western Kentucky turns toward the sun. It is peaceful in Western Kentucky and I only hear the clock, the birds and the fan. It is a heavy strong fan and it is rather intimidating when she blows. But I assume that the purpose of such force is to clean the moisture out of the lines. Moisture in lines may cause a number of bacteria to form and that is not good.
Today I clean and shock the pool and let the pool water see the sun. The water evaporates that way, removes chlorine and reduces the temperature as the sun sets.
I am making coffee with a tea kettle this morning as our old coffee maker bit the dust a month ago. I just put the filter holder over the pot and pour hot water, it is slower.

  1. We left the house and set out riding shortly after 8 a.m. this morning. It was so foggy along the mountain passes so I decided to stop at an old truck stop for breakfast just to kill time. The men ate hardy breakfasts and then we were on our way again. It was a nice warm ride, even early in the morning with lots of humidity. By 11 a.m. the sun was so hot that it was time to head for home.

If these days continue this way, with intense heat, then we will have to wait until the sun gets lower in the sky to get back out in it and ride some more.

Hope you're having a nice cool day indoors and sorry about your coffee pot. This day is a day for a 3 a.m swim.

    Love you
