Whether or not there is a public option prices will continue to rise. That's just the way things are. Have you ever seen any business lower their price? Are the price of houses, cars, electricity, water, cell phones, food, etc. not going to rise yearly? The only thing that ever comes down in price are electronics.
It's fine with me if they vote in a public option just as long as they don't make it mandatory that everyone carry health insurance.
