Yesterday was Mother's Day.We went to church and the man said, "Some folks worship the Mother of God (We can assume the Virgin Mary) but we do not worship her, we respect her."
My mind fell to the floor. God placed the seed into the Virgin Mary.
This has nothing to do with religion this is about history and the written and spoken words of men.
Some of the women of the world say god is a female; the old world painted god as human. I was taught in church that god was omnipotent and omnipresent.
I thought at a young age that god looked over the planet and over me. That changed when I realized that each human being on the planet had a brain and thought differently about religion or their spiritual being. How could some folks be right and some folks be wrong?
The answer is that we think in terms of being a human being (see photo). Since we are, "The Greatest." we sometimes assume that god is in our image (man or woman).
Our world has always been enlightened but now with the ever presence of knowledge we can go beyond the world in our thoughts of the word god and what it means in our minds as well as the mind of the planet (the birds and the bees).
It is true, we should not worship her, the Virgin Mary, or any other human being either. We should only worship the One True God. It is true that Mary was blessed and chosen to give birth to the Savior of the World and the Messiah, but she was just as human as any of us, and all of us have the chance to be blessed and favored by God in our lives. God just knew she would totally trust Him and believe.
