Make It Easy On Yourself (Performed Live) --- Jerry Butler
Walker Brothers - Make It Easy on Yourself
I always thought this was the perfect song for my son "E" to sing with his deep voice. I was told by my aunts in California that my mother Rebecca had a beautiful voice and she sang in the church choir while growing up in California (I think they were Methodists). My grandmother read the Watchtower so I assumed that she was a Seventh-day Adventist. I grew up Catholic and my brothers and sisters were baptized at the San Gabriel Mission.
From Sandy:
I really enjoyed watching that slide show of the San Gabriel Mission. Too bad they didn't show more of the interior and alcoves, but the slide show was a nice reminder of years gone by. I'd like to visit it again and find my sister's grave site again. I used to go there when I was younger and take my friends to her grave site.
I have lots of happy memories spending time playing around the Mission grounds while my grandfather did his work there. He always gave me money for the gift shop and I would buy food to feed the pigeons...they would land on your hands and eat the seeds out of the palms of your hands.
I attended the church of the Seventh Day Adventist with grandmother in Pasadena several times and yes...this is the church she attended. Grandpa never did go with us.
