Standing Bear stood before a judge in the court of law and spoke these words, "My hand is not the color of yours, but if I pierce it, I shall feel pain. If you pierce your hand, you also feel pain. The strange thing is that I did the same thing but with a different ending as I was not as fluent in thought as this Indian brave even though I felt the same in my stance.
I'm proud of you for taking a stance and don't really understand how public officials have any say on what happens on private property with the owners consent.
