Republicans as well Democrats sent the money above to Iraq.
Republicans as well Democrats sent $700,000,000,000 to wealthy bankers in 2008.
Now the Democrats want to send $700,000,000,000 to our United States citizens and only 3 Republicans agreed to let them have it.
This last bill was meant to help states continuine their work projects; finish and hire new employees on federal projects that have been on hold for the last 8 years. It pays to rebuild our schools.
Most folks do not like the fact that this bill is not given to individuals to spend as we please. If I had the money I would buy a product made in China which would stimulate jobs in China which does not hire a new employee in our town.

Even the stimulus money will be going to China and other countries for supplies because the U.S. no longer produces much. The millions who will be put to work will spend their paychecks just like you would on products from other countries.
ReplyDeleteThe United States needs to shut down their borders and not allow products in at all and force employers to start producing products for our own use. The money needs to stay and be spent right here at home and if Obama is not going to do that then he better start planning on hiring 1 million U.S.Seaport Inspectors and 3 million U.S.D.A. inspectors to keep us safe.
That's 4 million new jobs that we desperately need.
$10 billion dollars a month now seems like chump change.
ReplyDeleteWhy are our tax dollars only hiring federal & State employees???? All who pay in federal taxes don't all work for the government, so why not create jobs that are not all state & federal government jobs. All the people they are supplying money to already have jobs and they are just getting more money so they won't have to lay them off. How about helping the unemployed get their own jobs back in the private sector? How about paying private companies a $50,000 bonus for each employee that they hire. That would be profitable enough in most manufacturing jobs to make it worth their while and to expand their companies.
