Grass Clippings

I am going out to pick up grass clippings as soon as it dries about 10:00 AM.

Grasses

Our Kittens found a new home. We still have Batman and Robin (Peaches). The Mother cried a little but soon was thankful. she still nurses the two that are here. it wont be long and I will be out mowing the grasses. I wear protective glasses and a mask and it helps with the allergies.

We are having a lot of thunder storms here at home. I have gone out between storms and tied things up or brought them in. The storms have frightened some of the cats.

3 Kittens

Good Evening,
Three of the kittens found new homes on a farm with three drench. The kittens will be in charge of catching mice and entertaining the three children. These are some very healthy kittens and now they are happy chasing each other and mice.

I awoke and thought to myself, "What was that?" I turned on the light and there was the Hoover Shampoo Machine across the doorway and 3 kittens looking a little confused. I thought to myself, "Is everyone all right?" and "What does the house look like?"
At the moment I have 3 kittens sound asleep and 2 others missing.

Maybe I Will Mow

Good Morning,
It has been a nice morning; the kittens are kittens. It looks like rain but nothing so far; I will go out an mow in about a half hour.

The Gray Kitten

Good Morning,

One of the little kittens got his head caught between the chair slats last night; I happened to be in my chair and I heard the screaming and went over and freed the kitten; I held him for a couple of minutes. and then the kitten laid at my feet for 5 more minutes. It is fine now but a little bit more cautious when playing.

Digging in the Rock Pile

Good Morning,

It does not take much of digging in the rock and dirt pile to tire me. I swung the mattock about 10 times then picked up what I broke lose and I was done. I got about 3 shovels full out of all that work. I need to level this out more. It has washed out some.


Later the next day:
It is very hard digging dirt out of the rock pile; a lot of work produces very little dirt; It sounds like I will have to do this several times.

Roto Tilling

I am taking a break and so are the kittens; no matter how many times you tell them that your back is not the Rock of Gibraltar, they still fight behind me and claw me

Painting Steps

Good Morning,

I painted the steps going up to the deck and back door; I had to mix two old paint cans to do it but that is alright because the new paint matches both old and new. Tomorrow I will do the deck skirt and after that it is the deck railing.

The kittens are flying high in play as their mom sleeps.

2 1/2 Inches of Rain

Good Morning,
We had rain in the last few days and air temperatures in the mid 50's. it is not a normal spring temperature for a day in May. Our pool overflow hole was overflowing.

Our kittens are healthy and being weened by their mother.They play hard and sleep soundly.

Pool temperature is 55 degrees.

Good Morning, 

The Kittens are fighting hard now and sleeping in places they find which are not visible to me. There are running down the hall and up on the couch, flipping and hoping into the air like small sheep (kittens), crouching low and stalking their brothers and sisters. They have gone behind something and can only be heard. Now they are quiet and exploring. Their mother has no clue as to where they are?

Carcass

Good Morning,

I was going to take a picture of the kittens nursing when I noticed the chicken carcass at the foot of the mother cats back foot; Laurel has made a broiled chicken for super last week and it was delicious and she had left the carcass in the fridge for the cats; she was going to boil off the meat from the carcass to mix with the cat chow.

The pool is clear and cold 62 degrees this morning.

Mom and The Kittens

Good Morning,
Right after i took the picture the kittens started to play and they have been playing for about an half hour now; they may crash any minute now. Their mother is keeping her eyes shut and resting while they bounce and hop around the area.
